What's the Best Concrete Sealer?

I'm looking to clean and seal my driveway and was looking for recommendations for a good quality and cost effective penetrating/impregnating concrete sealer to apply.
Looking for something that will preserve not only against staining, but for reducing the risk of cracking. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance...

I really haven't sealed much but when I do I usually go for behrs you can get it from home d usually. Higher cost but usually I'm making enough to do it its to easy to apply anyways. Pump up and thick roller for me

I stopped at the local brick yard and picked up a couple gallons of Siloxane PD yesterday. $30.95 per gallon. It works great but probably not suited for a driveway as it will not pass the cost effective part of your test.

Prosoco makes Siloxane PD. The also offer a Siloxane WB that is not prediluted and there SaltGuard is some good juice but both are more expensive still than the PD.

Ive been hearing Sherwin Williams has come out with some decent cementproducts. Spoke to a rep recently and scheduled some demos at the shop. He mentioned a slew of new products including some cement stains. I like SHerwin Williams cuz theyre always local. Ive been using their Deckscape line of deck products with excellent results.

SW carries H & C concrete stains which are a good product. We have used them on many projects. Increte is a better product IMO but difficult to get. Surprised to hear of your success with Deckscapes. We're constantly stripping that stuff off after 12 to 16 months due to peeling issues.

Ditto times 10.

I've been using V-Seal 101 (not so porous cement) and 102V4 (more porous cement) for the last 10 years. If you want, they can add color to it. Good product.

Also call David at Southern Stain. He is on it when it comes to exterior concrete. There are a lot of problems you can face if you don't choose the right solution. Call him first.

Thanks for the recommendation guys! Our goal everyday is to make sure our customers are successful.
There are literally thousands of different products on the market. some of them good, some of them great, and a lot of them garbage. The key to success is to find the product that is right for you. Every concrete sealing job is different, and every customer has unique needs and desires. Likewise, each sealer also has unique strengths and weaknesses. Talk to your supplier or distributor. It's their job to guide you through the process. If they only want to sell you something based on the brand they carry (and make the most money on) find a new distributor. There is no one brand or product line that is perfect for all situations. Give me a call any time. Always glad to help in any way.
