Where's Fayth part Deux

Not sure but based on where the other photo was taken I would guess Spirit Lake or what remains of it. Yes that is beautiful country out there.

It's lake Mowich. We wanted to go somewhere off the beaten path.

This is south of there. Somebody has to recognize this.

Since there isn't that much history in these parts I'm switching over to movie trivia.

Over 50 years ago this old schoolhouse was featured in a movie that made us all afraid of one of the most comnon creatures on earth.

What was the movie and for a bonus what is the name of the town?

Steve is right. Man that was nearly 50 years ago? Time flies when you are having fun. Did you know that most of the scenes shot were painted on glass like the one of the town itself from across the water? The town NEVER looked like it did in the movie.

Bodega Bay, CA

Yes, the Birds. I never understood that movie, but apparently it made a lot of money back in the day. Fayth watched it for the first time this week and didn't get it either. I am curious as to how they filmed some of the scenes though.

Here's another one,

This movie from the 1980's starring a now married couple is a favorite for women who like to think there's a good guy out there waiting for them. The movie resulted in the construction of a mini-golf course that remained in operation in an rv park till just a few years ago. This is a picture from the restaurant where some of the scenes were filmed and overlooking the cove where much of the water scenes were filmed.

What is the movie? Where is this cove? (I always thought this movie was filmed on the east coast for some reason)

The mermaid is basking at folsom lake as we speak. Couldn't find the indoor pool.

That one was too easy.

I figured Danny and Nick would get it. This one is a little harder. It's in the same town, It was a private club for a dozen or so rich guys to get together and smoke cigars, play poker and play with the "miss kitty" types of the day.

The rooms all had 2 to four exit doors so the girls could slip out in case the wives came barging in. It is supposedly haunted and was featured on Ghost Adventures.

We took the tour and went around taking pictures looking for "orbs". lol.

You can tell which one is Shelly! lol

I always thought you were a lefty.... All those conservative posts were just a smoke screen.... Should have turned right when you hit the coast.... LOL

I never thought I'd be back in a place where you have to differentiate your business:

Another hint. Kurt Russell

Alright, that one was too hard. It's the Washoe club. Spooky. Fayth was scared of it, but we weren't worried too much because we don't believe in ghosts and Shelly had on her "forgiven" t-shirt. lol.

You got it Doug. I'm surprised one of the ladies didn't get that one.

Here's another chick flick,

These mailboxes were featured in a movie that brought two people together from opposite coasts. The man in the movie lived in an unusual residence, partially pictured in the second pic. He lived right next to the bridge in the third picture and lived in the city pictured in the fourth.

I cheated. You told me last week. And I resent the "suprised one of the ladies didn't get it remark." That's hurtful....lol
