I like the pumps Paul designed better....I have a delavan sitting in my barn collecting dirt dobbers next to my two telescoping yellow noodle poles...BUT thats just me...

yellow noodle poles?! thats too funny. Have you ever used a 12" Mosmatic surface cleaner on the end of one of those for cleaning brick homes? A guy asked me about it and I was trying to get more input for him. He's trying to clean grout, etc after the masons and is concerned with the weight on the end of the pole. As for the pumps, Paul's been doing some testing on them and they are very similar in performance however the Delavan's have that higher amp draw. Some folks just love their Delavan's and we like to have as much available for you guys as possible.

No to the Surface cleaner on brick...and that's why I like Paul's pump better than the Delavan, lower amp draw means the pump NEVER over heats.

Guy,
I wish you would have called me to let me know you were having issues I would have taken care of the issue for you (and still will). I stand behind all of my products and will do everything I can to help with any warranty claims, even items I do not make myself. For that pump we have switched to a custom rated actual Flojet (not a copy) pump that has eliminated the premature failure issue from some of the pumps (we traced it to a thermal issue with the motor).

For those who do not like flojet we are also building the ones with the Delavan now. I did some testing and the only real difference is the Delavan draws about 2 amps more with the same nozzle sizes than the Flojet. For example the each shoots about 50' @35psi with a #30 nozzle and with a #50 they get about 40' and run at 20psi (ground level testing). When going in the air you will add about 1/2psi for every foot of rise on 1/2" hose, 5/8 hose will add more back pressure which is why we use 1/2".

Thats great Service, sorry guy you had trouble.
