float tank question

Just brought a new shark pressure washer that has a float tank in it.
My question is am running off a water tank along with 3 other pressure washers.
Should I do away with the float tank and go to the low pressure side of the pump and single or dual feed it?
The reason I would do away with the float tank is I think it would not suck any water from my tank and could run dry do to how high the intake is. I think the float tank was put there for pressure water supply.

Thank you
The float tank seems like a good idea but not really.

Your big tank is the float tank, like you're thinking the built in tank would be for a pressure feed not runoff from another tank.

I took off all the little float tanks off my machines.

You might have to put more water supply lines to the large water tank to keep it filled when running multiple machines, sometimes I had up to 4 supply hoses on the 325 gallon tank when running 3 machines, just depends on the supply at the sources.

Strive for the "perfect" water supply..
feeding from a taller tank is better,
feeding BOTH sides of the pump head is better,
shorter feed lines are better,
bigger feed lines are better,
bigger filters are better,
fittings that won't rust are better,
fittings with bigger thoroughfares are better,
NO flow restriction of ANY kind.. is better.

Why did the manufacturer put the "flow restrictors" in there ??
..to waste (..I mean sell) more soap.
