I have a hose reel problem!! I was given this hose reel and it leaks!!! I have tried to take the swivel off to check the o-rings but have had no luck. I am going to ask here to see if anyone knows how to take it off. I'm thinking it just needs some o-rings but don't know for sure. I plan on using it for my low pressure shur-flo. Thanks for any help.

You gotta remove that small black clamp first that is facing you In the first pic Can't remember the name of those but i use small needle nose pliers to spread em apart and lift them out.

You gotta put a wrench on those flats, then hold the reel from turning however you can and then loosen the whole swivel which will unscrew off of the pipe-stub which it is connected to.

I would think that once the snap ring is off, the outer part of the swivel should slide off the inner part exposing the o-rings to be replaced.

If it is stuck, maybe a puller placed to pull from the back of the outer cover and pushing on the inner piece where the snap ring was around might work.
