Lets Talk over use of Chemicals

As you can see the white Cloud around this Eating Place and Gas stations.

I think its a wing Place, so grease is bad, then add Gas pumps with maybe Diesel fuel.

The White is not cream from concrete, I'm going to PH test the asphalt near the cloud to determine this is chems.

Its will likely read High levels.

Thats why in the new Photo where no one drives in the lOW spots the Chems are Piling up.

What the rear of your photo look like, why is it not there? Because it shows the chem trail from the drive in the rear?
Come on give the Date on the photo, if you want to suggest its normal wear lets prove me wrong.

I Have photos proving the Damage, heres how I once prove this to a PM.

a local shopping centers Chinese joint was washing there own walks, only in front of there store the asphalt was damaged. Hence to the caustic they placed on the walks and rinsed to the asphalt. Damage only to there front.

Goodwill had there maint wash a loading area with Caustic, two months later the asphalt Failed. MSDS SHEETS given to seal compacts insurance. They settled out of court.

Another PM calls me, milky trail on a center we did not do for here. She had to re-seal coat the entire center, 10 acre lot destroyed.

I think the photo is before this one. Why because I think Google had the most recent. YOu puled and old photo from a prior Sealing, I see another angle you have given me to save this Company 1000.'s

I saved a 400 unit place and estimated 275,000 in damage caused by a cleaner they had been using on there own.

Not a theory...just a matter of weather, traffic and father time.

Dear Lord Ron.....take the tin foil hat off. Why would I hide something about a parking lot 8 hours away from me.

Either they cleaned the whole asphalt parking lot and burned it with chems (including behind the building) or traffic and weather degraded and wore off the slurry coat exposing the aggregate. Your theory of caustic burn was a plausable explanation based on a single image...1 day frozen in time. With a second image, showing the same affect in areas well away from the service station, it's highly unlikely this had anything to do with caustic.

the image proved you wrong....not me

Dates and which image is older are irrelevant...never mind that you can't even figure that out from a map overlay.

Is this a rinsing or reclaiming issue, or, what type of cleaning agent can be used that won't stain or deteriorate the blacktop? What could have been done differently?

Simple do not over use and at least rinse better.

I'm not buying the wear theory.

Why because I see massive build up in low areas.

Take a look at the photo. Along the back of property in retention the build up is there.

There's no traffic in these areas.

Simply stop throwing flakes on the ground and watering them.

Dates on Photos are Relevant , its shows a time period. Your's are older photos, older cars and roof has been redone.

This is about who right or wrong, neither one of us have the video of the guy or the proof its only wear.

Its a Theory in this Case, in others I have proved it. HOT PH ON THE ASPHALT and Stores Admitting they used the products. EXCESSIVELY

You can even see the damage from the Grease on the roof, funny you could use this to sell roof cleaning on Kitchens.

People under estimate the cleaning power of butly, gylcol ether what ever you wanna call it.Scale back on the caustic, not saying dont use it just cut back.Maybe 8 oz per gallon then add the glycol ether the two combination have a good synergistic effect on oil and grease.Chunk in a good surfactant and you are off to cleaning nirvana.

Agree, just use with caution. Be aware of the surroundings and the right process. Be safe and responsible , more is not always better.
