Hydrant meter question
I was Pressure washing miles of curbing and sidewalks. When I got my first bill from the water department they hit me with a Base Fee of well over$150. This is not for water or hook up or deposit. It was for sewer and other things as I was told. I have used meters before but for smaller jobs at other citys.

So you pw that use meters on hydrants is this base fee common?

Flagler County - I told them I wouldnt be using the sewer and was told. All contractors pay for this when going to a meter. It was more for the base than for the water cost.

I agree w/Greg! I remember when I renewal my business tax license this past Sept their was a $40.00 'Administration Handling Fee.' I asked the lady why so high of a fee and she replied with, "It how the city collects extra $$$!"

He is going to need more than one trailer for that. I lost a bid that would of taken me two months to finish to a guy with one machine and a 125 gallon tank. It took him well over 6 months to finish. I also lost a large sidewalk cleaning bid to a guy with a 500 gallon tank strapped to a pontoon boat trailer.

That picture onmy web site is about 5years old. I have great equipment and the best employees.I have one employee that’s nick name is Bulldog he is like having 3men workingfor you and can do week after week, month after month, year after years. 2 hotpressure washers and 2 colds, 4 surface cleaners. We move very fast.

Scott I got no doubt you could do the job just busting your balls.

No problem, Greg I learn alot from you and many others on the board. I owe a big part on how well we are doing by either talking or reading the post over many years.

There are only a couple of handful of guys that really know what they are talking about on PWI and you are one of them.
