Two night ago while my youngest son was doing a indoor cleaning at one of our accounts he felt that he should add a scented cleaner to our cleaning mixture. He brought a bottle of Fabuloso Citrus and added 2oz to the mix. The next day the manager call me to say how good of a cleaning was done the night before and the restrooms smelt great also. When I ask James why he had thought to add the Fabuloso he said he pick up on it while cleaning the dumpsters at Baskin Robbin one night when he discovered that it help with the sour milk smell. He then continue to use it whenever he cleaned the dumpster and grease bins at Zaxby's, Chilis, Outback, Paneras, and any other dumpsters that we cleaned. Sells for under 3.00 and you only need a couple of oz. He has mix it with caustics and doesnt seem to be a issue. Most of the time we use Spray Power which cleans well and is not as volutile as caustics.

That's great , the problem only is anyone recall ever going into a restaurant and it smelling like anything other that fryers or bacon?

Most intentionally use non scented cleaners. FYI

Even the bleach smell from the old days most will not use it. The have a table top sanitizer that has no smell but works just like bleach.

No one ever notices this?

Now the reasons obvious.

Great find on chemicals, just I wouldn't use it in a eating place.

Maybe if they had bacon flavor

I think your safe as long as it smells CLEAN / sanitized! I've walked in a few restaurants that smelled down right nasty (think dirty gym locker) Walked back out without ordering on a few occasions.

I agree with that, I'm not trying to be a great product find killer guys.

Just passing on what I know. Walking into a place that smelled like roses didn't make anyone hungry either. If over powering food will taste bad.

I know this from restaurant shows , people eat with eyes. Looks good taste good.

Ill leave it at that, ill keep using my bacon scented cleaner around restaurant dumpster. Unless its a Jewish place

Zig says customers buy services based on what they'll feel. If the payer of the service smells it, likes what he smells, and feels good about, wouldnt you say there is value in the scent? Even if it quickly succombs to fryer greae?

Have you ever noticed , your sitting at a place getting coffee or a cocktail. You had not intention of eating. Some frys come passing by you , you get a whiff next thing you know your asking for a menu.

Same trick serving you peanuts or something salty free, you drink more.

I thought we were talking about dumpsters and grease bins. When I grab a seat at the diner, yes, I want to smell fries, burgers, and bacon fat. But when I pull up a chair to the dumpster or a urinal, dammit I want it to smell like Fabulouso.

Agreed, problem is those dumpster are in the areas people walk by. Floral smells don't create hunger. But neither does poop or urine smell.

Just again passing on what I know

I didn't know 'El Fabuloso' was imported that far, thought it was only down here in the SW.

just when the dumpster smell was making me hungry u have to ruin it with Lavender !!

We spray down a citrus degreaser AFTER we clean dumpsters and pads. It leaves that great citrus scent and we've had several positive comments. Don't spray it on to thick and use a punp up sprayer

The customers I have using Hex love it for cleaning dumpsters, trash chutes, garbage trucks. It cleans, sanitizes, and keeps flies away. Below is a brief description of the product.

Hex is a concentrated blend of biodegradable detergents, germicides, and deodorizing agents. Hex cleans, disinfects and deodorizes in one operation. Leaves a fresh pleasant aroma. This triple action product was specially designed to remove grease, slime, dirt, sludge, and fat while eliminating odour causing bacteria at the source. Use with Cantol’s Foam Gun to produce a blanket of clinging foam. Regular use of Hex will keep the area clean and fresh smelling. Keeps flies away and eliminates breeding areas of insects, maggots and rodents.
