The premier and most detailed class on deck restoration available. This is one of the most lucrative specialties for residential contractors to take on, taught by one of the most successful guys in this field. This class has launched hundreds of successful businesses since first offered in 1998

Learn how to determine the type of wood used, how to select a cleaner or stripper for any job, the best job techniques, how to select a good sealer for your operation, how to price your work, and lots more!

We will strip a deck or fence and seal one, so that every student gets a good feel for doing this work (weather permitting).

I have been teaching Wood since 1998. We are going to cover a lot of ground, and have a lot of fun doing it. Lots of folks have been to classes I have taught and we always enjoy the experience.

The class starts at 10:00 AM will run most of the day. Students will learn everything they need to know to Certify with UAMCC or Contractors Foundation. Passing these tests is guaranteed. If you don’t pass, you may take the class over at no charge.

Tuition is $599 until 1/11.

After 1/11, Late Registration is $100 additional. Space is limited. A working lunch is provided on site. Sign up right away to assure yourself a seat.

Any questions about what is going to be covered, call Pete @ Sun Brite! 770-277-9924

Class is at my shop in Lawrenceville, Georgia (Atlanta area). We have a nice facility that seats up to 8 and might even have a brand new classroom to seat 15 if we can get it built out in time. Here's the best news, Jason. The temperatures are usually in the 50's in January so we should be able to work outdoors. I can remember days in the 70s, but unfortunately I can remember days in the 30's, so we are just crossing our fingers. If it is too cold, we may be able to do some hands-on indoors in the warehouse.

We have a deal with the local Country Inn & Suites (which is a really nice place) and there are plenty of other hotels available to fit every budget.

If you are here for Saturday night we will probably have a good sized group so we can hang out together. You can usually pick up lots of great ideas in that kind of conversation.

I had the privilege while traveling in November to tour the Sun Brite facilities and classroom. I came away very impressed. If you are considering adding or getting into the wood restoration I would highly recommend you attend this.

New Classroom!

Just putting the finishing touches on a new classroom facility in our building. This is the nicest classroom we have ever had. Check it out here:

Thanks, all. Doug, entirely new room. Decided the other room would make a good call center, so I got to start from scratch. Matthew, I will be handling this on my own this time.
