Trailer Build - Setup

The trailer in the above pics is a 7,000 pound trailer. My new Big Tex 12,000 pound trailer is being delivered this Saturday (2/16/2013) and I am going to start the transfer of all the equipment.
Just kicking the idea around of if I am going to keep the same set up I have now or if I should move some things around?

I got the same trailer only....this is how I set mine up[ 2-525 tanks, 4 electric cox reel (all High mounts) 2 skids up front and 2 cold water units on back, downstreaming out of my 55'ers from valves, ladder racks up top, valves set up so I can run any giving machine on any given reel and the two skids are tied together, 36"sc mounted on side, 2 18gal aluminun gas tanks, one for front and one for back.
you can get by with 325 gal tanks or crank hand reels....but is sure is nice to have it when you need it.

Does that water tank keep up with both washers running at the same time?

It keeps up beautifully. I have the tank set up with a float valve half way down (for when I run one machine) and a float at the top (for running both machines). It maintains a water level about 8 inches from the top when running both machines.

I just realized I have a pic up there with my old 125 gal tank. That kept up with both machines but you had to keep your eye on it. In my other pics (the ones with the sign on the trailer) that has a 325 tank behind the signs. That's what I was talking about in the previous reply.

You can always have 2 or 3 water supply hoses feeding the tank, sometimes you have to if the flow is low at the place you are working at.

I have had 4 supply hoses feeding my 325 gallon tank when using the 8gpm, 5.5gpm and 5gpm machines at the same time.

Just depends on the flow at the location you are working at.

I just started a new location that is every 2 weeks washing their sidewalks and their water faucet will supply enough water for the 8gpm and 5.5gpm machines at the same time so every place is usually different.

Nice set up Al. looks like you can handle any job. sweet...
 
It looks like a good setup but I would take it to the truck scales and put just the tongue on the scale to see how much tongue weight you have, somtimes there might be too much weight on the tongue and can cause problems with the hitch and too much weight on the truck hitch.

The bigger/stronger trailer is a great idea.
