    Guy,

Thank you for taking the time and going the extra mile to make this public apology. I sent you a PM asking if the comments were true because I honestly did not know. You, without hesitation said you thought they were and would check. I never asked for an apology or for you to publicly retract you statement. It was completely of you own free will and I have a great deal of respect for someone that can. As far as I am concerned this is a dead issue and we are good.

I would only add I hope everyone will simple drop it and move on to bigger and better things. There are far more important things for us all to focus our energy.

    Again Thank You Guy.

I respectfully understand, why not fix the problem at hand so people don't feel this way about powerwash.com

Robert claims your the War chest for his crusade, if you want people to respect your business maybe you should start taking into account ours?

You make statements about wanting to work together? So lets

Can you work with others that differ from your thoughts? Can you work with people you do not like for a better cause?

Seems you talk a lot about this but really never do anything. Oh I have heard your excuses about how you only work with professional people as if this means if your not working with someone that means they are not pro's.

Mike here's your chance to help your business, if you do not then we all know you remain on the same Page. Roberts stance is Clearly and most definitely on Harder more restrictive regulation. Its fact and not fiction, why would anyone support this.

Ignoring this only means you don't care, excuses you will not work to change this means you don't care.

Your silence or combativeness will only mean that, so are you willing to change the image?

    Here's my apology.

I apologize for buying a pump up sprayer from them in 2009.

I will never contribute to their cause again and I apologize to the contractors who have been put out of business or hurt in any way by the few dollars I added to their coffers.

Guy, no matter what some say or think, if you are apologizing from the heart, unforced and not under threat, you are most to be respected.
We don't only need to apologize when we feel our beliefs or assertions were proven wrong.
It's funny how Tony thinks you can play God when something rubs you the wrong way, even if it should rub you the wrong way.

Tell that to your family as you watch them being slaughtered by some nutcase. The New Testament called us to lay down our lives at a testament to our faith, not to satisfy the cravings of lunatics till the police (Ceasar) comes along to do something about it. A Christian living out on a remote farm would have a heck of a time relying on Ceasar to protect his family.

We are the salt. We are not the plate. We don't just take whatever is dished out on us by lunatics. Martyrdom is a show of faith. Allowing a nutcase to assault your family is a show of cowardice. Salt is an active ingredient infiltrates and DOES SOMETHING.

Jesus said to His apostles, "Let him who has no sword sell his robe and buy one" [Luke 22:36] I suppose they must have needed that to cut the passover lamb.

A few hours later Peter tried to use that sword to cut off the head of Malchus. Did Jesus tell him to get rid of his sword? No, he told him to simply put it away (for now) because using the sword at that moment would have hindered the purpose for which Jesus came to this earth, that being to lay down his life for us.

The apostles carried swords and they knew how to use them and what they were for even after spending three years walking with Jesus. Maybe if you had walked with him you would know what it is for too.

Back to the original idea on this thread.

Every man has to follow his own conscience. You do. I do. I might try to change your mind and you might try to change mine, but in the end we each have to make our own decisions based on the understanding we have and live accordingly. That is what Guy has done here. I respect that he is following his heart and stated as much. I don't believe he has any reason to apologize and will allow the lack of an apology from Michael and Robert speak for itself as does my lack of apology.

I believe I am 100% right in this fight against the assault on our industry perpetrated by Robert. I believe it is my duty as a Christian to stand up against it.

Robert has shown that he is against the common man with drive and determination and is for the large company with the resources to swallow the ambitious. His posts and his threads speak for themselves. His goal is to work with the government and drive out anyone who cannot afford the equipment to keep up with overbearing regulations.

His work has already driven many out of business and his posts here are made to frighten any newcomers away.

That goes against everything we are taught in the Bible. A man who is willing to work and do so in an honest way should not be pushed out by the rich. God cared so much about the working poor that he made rules saying they had to be paid at the end of each working day, and made farmers leave portions of their fields so that the poor could gather their own food. (not food banks where we gather the food for them).

There are many aspects of this work (roof washing, house washing, plaza cleaning, etc) that any man with a little self control, work ethics, ambition and a strong back can do starting with a small amount of money and working their way up. Robert is closing that door. He is doing it in a systematic way that assures the he and others (the larger companies) benefit from it.

The reason for this course of action is because the companies he is helping are unable to compete with honest companies by providing honest work for an honest price. They would rather provide shoddy service but have it handed to them on a platter once competition is thinned out.

I have actually listened to one of those companies bragging about being almost 3 months behind on services and happy that pretty soon they will be so far behind it they will be back on schedule again (while charging the customer for timely service the whole time - and I have two other witnesses who heard this same conversation.)

Two of us have subbed for one who charged for services we "provided" when we didn't even have the inventory to provide the service. We got tired of the deception and decided to have no part of it.

Another has a sub who stated filters are routinely bypassed and dumped straight unless there are authorities around.

This is the type of people Robert is fighting for.

The "bottom 25%" as he calls them, are who I am fighting for.

I believe I am right. I will continue in my quest without apology unless I ever say or do something dishonest. I could care less who's feelings I hurt. This is business, not a high school date.

You go ahead and believe and live as you wish Dan, and God bless you in your direction. I will do the same.

Romans 10:2 NW "For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God; but not according to accurate knowledge;"
Tony, defending one's family against obvious physical danger is one thing. Killing a person who did a despicable thing is beyond our individual rights and obligation.
You don't truly believe the swords were for self-defense, do you? (Luke 22:36, 37) Then he said to them: “But now let the one that has a purse take it up, likewise also a food pouch; and let the one having no sword sell his outer garment and buy one. 37 For I tell YOU that this which is written must be accomplished in me, namely, ‘And he was reckoned with lawless ones.’ For that which concerns me is having an accomplishment. What prophecy? That he would be executed alongside two evildoers. Certainly when Peter attacked Malchus and Jesus rebuked him, it shows that Peter did not understand the object lesson of the swords.
(Matthew 26:52) Then Jesus said to him: “Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword.
(John 18:36) 36 Jesus answered: “My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source.”
(2 Timothy 2:24) 24" But a slave of the Lord does not need to fight, but needs to be gentle toward all, qualified to teach, keeping himself restrained under evil,"
    and on and on.

As far as your Christian obligation to expose businessfolk who are ruining the industry you happen to serve in, it's your time and your life to budget.
I would say that if that falls under the following summation, have at it.. Ecclesiastes 12:13"The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the [true] God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole [obligation] of man."

I would say that if that falls under the following summation, have at it.. Ecclesiastes 12:13"The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the [true] God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole [obligation] of man."
We can agree to disagree on the other stuff, but I believe I am fulfilling that obligation in what I am doing.
