I used too, but i would have to hire two people to follow up jobs everyday.

How my service has changed over the years, once thought it was possible to give everyone the same service is not impossible.

At Vegas Pressure Wash we are all about customer service. When we are done with a job, someone is almost always there. We let them know we are done and they will come back and ok it. If we clean a place where no one is there. We do a courtesy call the next MORNING. To make sure our customers are satisfied. If for any reason our customer is not satisfied we do everything in our power washing power to satisfy. We also go out Monthly to our customers to talk with them about our service and to make sure that they are happy with us, and we assure them that we appreciate their business.

We do a lot of work with the Construction Industry and absolutely have a Site Super or Project Manager sign off as "Work completed in a acceptable manner. No further work required". And signed off per unit when it involves multi-units. In new construction, the cleaning work is typically at the end of the project, and worse... the end of the budget. Sometimes it's "be first... or be too late".

Welcome Thomas

Once the job is finished I go around the job site with the customer and verify if he's satisfied with the work done, than I ask for a signature. I call back the customer within 2 weeks to make is sure everything is ok with him!

I hand deliver invoices monthly on commercial accounts. During that time, we discuss job perforance and any "issues" that we might be having. Most often it's just some friendly chat, and we end up just talking about fishing and stuff... about 85% of the time, i get a new lead to another job.

Customer Relations is Great!

For residential I do a walk through and get signatures after the walk through. Ill send a hand written thank you card in 2 weeks offering a coupon for any additional services. I also have a set up for carpet, /Tile and grout.

For my commercial Businesses I will call the next day to see how it went.
When I do restaurants I try to patronize them with a friend for business networking.
I always give a folder before every job and give cleaning tips to maintain the cleaning until my return.( for the small things) but I always say, " if you need further assistance"

They always need further assistance.

I rarely ever meet our customers. 90% of our jobs are sold via text or email...they are rarely home when we do the work. I do follow up w a phone call, text, or email to assure they were happy with our work. Hand written TY cards go out with a business card magnet 3 weeks to a month later.

I prefer for commercial to do a drive by the day after and walk around examining my own work, then make contact with customer, especially if I missed something, I apologize for the inconvenience, notify that the quality of work I provided did not meet my companies standards and we will be back and correct the problem at closing time. Usually they are blown away by me pointing it out, they stay customers because of it.
Resi, always walk around with customer
Always on any job before during and afters (anyone who knows me knows I'm a photo freak)
Don't leave until they are 100% satisfied, or ask you to.

I do the same for commercial. Return the following day and do a walk around.

For residential, If the customer is home once I'm finished, I ask if they would like to walk around with me so they can check everything out. If the customer isn't home when I'm finished, I do a follow up email.

Either way, I thank them for their business every time...

Mike
