Hot or Cold? (for me)

Just make sure it's at least 4 GPM. That's the most important thing.

Ya, too bad i joined this board after i bought my equipment, im actually running smaller with a 3.5. As of now though it has been holding it's own and is working well for me. All im doing right now is houses and driveways, stuff like that. As soon as i'm ready to take the next step i think i'm going to go with a 5.5. You just starting out as well, or been in the business a while?

Go with the hot water unit because as of right now, u have no idea about what ur going to get into cleaning later on down the line. most of us that started in this business, started out with a cold water unit only to need a hot water machine very quickly..TRUST ME!!

Well, technically I started Josh Davis home services 6 years ago. Pressure washing was my main focus but I also did other things like lawn maintenance, a little bit of landscaping, and a few other things. Any questions I had about how to wash , what chemicals to use, and things like that, I asked my local distributor, who I now realize had just giving me a bunch of bad information. I figured he knew what he was talking about, but turns out he didn't. I actually asked him a little while back if he sold X-Jets, and he had no idea what I was talking about. Once I found PWI I realized that I had been doing everything wrong from my pricing, to my marketing, to the way I was washing. After 5 years in business I was still barely getting by, so I knew it was time for a change. I changed the name a few months back and started offering roof washing. I now feel like I am starting from scratch this year. Kinda feels like this is my first year in business. I'm having to redo and relearn everything. But I know now that 5 years from now I will be much better off than I am today. It's worth it.
