Las Vegas Environmental Garage Cleaning Event hosted by Jim Gamble 2013

They had a public official from Nevada speaking at the event and barred Ron and me from attending. It took everything I had not to enter during that time as a citizen of the state of Nevada to monitor what kind of doubletalk Jim would be giving this guy. But I opted to deal with the aftermath of it rather than disrupt the event.
does that mean that anyone from Nevada would have had to been allowed in to hear the state rep speak?

Probably so, but it wouldn't have been worth the negative light we would have cast on ourselves by the disruption it may have caused. It's hard enough to defend ourselves against lies. I didn't want to do something they could throw back in my face later.

I was like a Cat....!!!!! LOL

To clear the air regarding John's insane claims that we "snuck" into the event, Here are Ron and my activities.

Monday - in the evening Ron, Shelly, Jill, Chris and myself had dinner in the American Grill of the casino floor. We saw one contractor that we recognized from a previous event. Ron said hello to him and was gone in less than a minute since he was busy eating. We drove through the parking lot to see what equipment was there and took pictures of the line of equipment.

Tuesday - in the morning we went to the convention area. We didn't know where it was because there were no signs that we could see. As we were walking through the halls we heard what sounded like Nigel speaking. We talked to the Dodge guy in the hall for about 5 minutes. He invited us in to look at the trucks but we declined. Anyone can ask him, he was outside in the hall the entire time we were there. I walked down a hallway alongside the event and snapped a picture of the screen of Nigel's presentation through a fully open doorway and kept it to prove to John T that we did actually come to the casino and did not cause ANY kind of disruption of the event.

After that we went to Starbucks between the convention center and the casino and had coffee. This was about 100 yards away from the event. Another contractor saw us and spoke with us for about 10 minutes. During that time Jim Cooney and Michael Hinderliter walked by. It would have been near impossible to miss us since we were sitting in the two chairs nearest the open hallway.

After that we took off and spent the rest of the day having fun.

Wednesday - We came back and drove through the parking lot to see if any additional equipment had arrived. The Cyclone guy was driving his unit along the street. I asked him for a business card, but he did not have one. Then we drove up to the top of the public garage and saw they had moved some equipment and Jim's big pickup truck up there. We took some pictures and if I remember right Ron and I went back for lunch at the American Grill and ate with two people who were at the event. When we were walking through the casino we saw some vendor reps. As we passed Ron said, "How's the event going?" I was ahead of him so I didn't hear their response, but it was brief because none of us stopped walking and we were walking in the opposite direction of the vendor.

When we came out of the casino we saw them moving equipment towards the public parking garage. Robert was walking from the parking area to the garage and crossed right in front of us. We drove through the garage and saw that the top floor was partially blocked off so we assumed that was where they would be doing demos and left.

Thursday - We drove to the top floor of the casino and saw the aftermath of the demos and took pictures. We were going to go out through the parking area where they had their equipment stored the first day to see who was still here, but changed our mind and made a U-turn to go out to find a white pickup with California plates had followed us. Thinking that may be someone connected to Jim watching for our car we made another u-turn and snapped a picture of him. Then we left.

In total we were on the property maybe 2 1/2 hours including two meals and coffee and some time on the casino floor. After the five minutes or so on the first day we never walked past the event room again.

We didn't cause any disruptions, make any scenes, or anything of that nature. The only person we spoke to that we didn't know beforehand was the Dodge truck guy in the hall.

Keep in mind, this casino is less than three miles from my house. It literally takes minutes to get there. Ron flew in here from New Jersey and we wanted to to monitor what was going on to keep the lies and exaggerations about the event in check. That is why we asked the Dodge guy how many people were in the room on the first day. That is why we looked at what equipment was there. That is why we took pictures of the aftermath.

So regardless of what you hear about Ron and I "getting caught" at the event, or sneaking into the event, these are the facts. Our time there was minimal and quiet.

Tony forgot we had lunch with a Couple folks as well, he forgot that detail.

I can Hardly say we snuck around since we walked by open doors and sat out in hallway texting John if he was there with no response since he was actually the person who invited me to come down. ( NOW We Snuck around) LOL

If I was sneaking around why did I Exchange a couple business cards with folks? Why would we walk up to the meeting room or have coffee at the end of hallway?

I saw Mike walk by and look right at us, at the time we were sitting with and attendee talking to them. I did not see Jim Cooney nor do I care to, truthfully Jim C has been not so nice of a competitor. Very un-professional tactics.

I text John at the event, if he disputes inviting me I'll post the texts. Pretty simple to do that since they are his words.

So when they say I showed up not invited its not True. John invited and also wanted to make Deals I could not, he wanted un-banned here. Thats not my decisions , its the members of PWI.

Jim is telling people that I contacted their first hotel, the LVH, the Rio, and the unions and caused them not to be able to clean the garage at his event.

Here is the number for the LVH - 702-732-5111
Here is the number for the Rio - (866) 746-7671
And here is the number for the Casino Unions - (702) 385-2131

Please feel free to contact any of them and ask if anyone ever even called to mention any event going on here in Las Vegas.

Please feel free to call as many departments as you would like, including the event planners, maintenance offices, executive offices or anything else you care to think of.

No one ever called any of them regarding Jim or his event.

This has all been made up to cover up the fact that Jim's plan to bring in an EPA official backfired when he was denied a permit to clean the garage after exaggerating the runoff issues involved. He did this to himself and he did this to the attendees who spent money to come clean a garage.

It has nothing to do with me.

As I stated before, I, too, was told by one of the attendees that Jim had a union problem so I texted him an offer to help because I have to work with the unions all the time and I know it's almost impossible to work in a casino unless you sub for a union. I will post that text in my next post.

After it was over I had a meeting with my local Authorities. I was told that Jim had contacted the Las Vegas EPA law enforcement division to attend his event, effectively bypassing the authority that makes the rules. The law enforcement division called them and said the entire thing smelled funny so they were going to decline attending.

I would have never thought to speak to the enforcement division even if I had wanted to. I guess in my mind we should be dealing with the people who make the rules instead of presenting ourselves as polluters to the people who's only job is to enforce. Perhaps that is what happened in Houston too.

More of this is coming to light as time goes by.

Who cleaned up after the demos at the Charleston NCE event a few years ago?

Every event I have ever attended required demos to finish the area including the coil I cleaned at Myrtle beach. That has been the rule.

We also had to go back and clean the DMV entrance in Las Vegas. We finished most of it on demo day, but we still had to go back and complete it.

In both cases there was no charge, but a simple thank you for allowing us to use the space for a demo.

Charleston event one Demo was left behind. Other than that windows across front got done and the entire entrance.

We left a demo by accident on the side. The hotel complained and we sent a local guy named Bobby to help us out.

We don't leave them intentionally, learned way to many times the hotels will charge you to fix the problem.
