Good evening everyone,

We have an opportunity to bid on a LA Fitness gym and was interested in finding out if any of you guys clean these? I know the majority of all the gyms have the same style of building so I wanted to see if you can help me out on bidding for these gyms. Any help will do and if you guys do anything similar that will help as well. I would also like to get your input on whether this should be a 15 day or 30 day service.

Thanks guys!

We have one we did for a steam cleaner. It was main entrance and walks. Very small maybe 2000ft2. Lots of gum and stains..the previous contractors just used cold water so there was alot if previous damage and petrified gum. We got 350.00 for it. The steam cleaner now cleans it with his cold water unit every month. He uses us to get ot of his contracts...first impressions are everything. .lol

Ron,

As far as the scope, no word on that yet as the mgr states he will advise what he would like to have cleaned upon our arrival for the bid but I am assuming it would be the main entrance and the sidewalk that surrounds the gym.

How often?

One time Job 425.00 to 525.00 Sidwalks Only

30 Days 175.00

Monthly the guy doing it now with cold water is at 250.00 so yes your in range. When I washed for 350.00 he ate it out of his pocket to make that good impression and get the contract signed for that and other work. You gotta watch those carpet cleaners they throw the pressure washing in for free around here. Theres usually not much footage and monthly you would be in and outta there in an hour with one guy.

LA Fitness isn't signing any contracts for power washing right now. Everything is on a as needed basis. I know this because I used to clean over 60 of their clubs in CA/AZ every 60 days before my contract got cut back in 2008. I still do the clubs here in So Cal and every time I mention another service agreement to corporate they look the other way.
