Alright everyone I know this area is new on the forum but I figured a lot of guys that use or are thinking of using Front 9 may have a couple of questions for the F9 Restoration experts.

- How would you market or sell the F9 Restoration services?

- How would you price your services?

- What would you say have been your money maker clients?

- What is the mixing ratio for F9?

I know many of you might have some more questions so please feel free to ask here. Comments and answers to the questions are welcome but please be knowledgeable about your responses.

Thanks everyone and look forward to hearing from all of you.

Hi Jesus and thank you for posting your questions here. There are many ways to market the services created by F9 BARC, The World's Best Rust Remover depending on where you are located in the US and the market you want to pursue. I'm giving you the answers below based on my experience in a Golf-Dominated Demographic (plenty of retirement communities) and in the Desert Region of California.

Question 1) - How would you market or sell the F9 Restoration services?

I have compiled a small list of "Who to Sell To" for you guys. Remember, in order to use the F9 logo on your marketing material you must be an F9 Authorized Applicator. Authorized Applicators may also use the pictures on our website for your marketing material.

Who to sell to:
Golf Courses-cart barns have orange stains
Country Clubs- homeowners with golf carts, some are forced by HOA to clean stains
Cities- maintenance departments for rust, golf cart stains, rust under railings and from equipment

Contractors- general cleaning
Landscape Companies- connect with them to clean up their fertilizer rust stain spills

Maintenance departments for any commercial building restoration

Pool companies- use hydrochloric acid and occasionally spill it which “burns” the surface.
Pool supply companies- network for clean up services
Pool Deck companies- clean their customers decks. F9 Removes rust from tables and chairs on coatings and pool decks
Tile companies- clean up and help maintain exterior tile surfaces
Concrete coating companies
Airports- golf carts taxi up and down the runways. Lots of orange stains.
Car dealerships- use golf carts and have concrete
Government and military agencies
Hotels/motels/resorts-have concrete, pool decks and golf carts
Property management Companies

Handy man businesses- use them for referrals
Car Detailing businesses- use them for referrals
Carpet companies- use them for referrals
Boulder and stone companies- use them for referrals
AAA

Battery Stores
Retirement villages
Campgrounds
Vacation resorts
Manufactured housing developments

Here is an idea of how to get work:

How to get work:
Go to golf courses and talk to the superintendents. Do a demo! Ask the superintendent if you can put up brochures in the clubhouse or pro shop.
Visit golf cart dealers in your neighborhood. Tell them you have a new product and service that can remove golf cart battery stains (the orange ones, not the white ones.) Do a demo. Ask to put your brochures in their service area. Ask them to refer jobs to you and offer to give them a percentage or referral fee.
Contact Property Management and people from the “Who to sell to” above. Let them know of your new service.

Go to your local hardware stores. Tell them about your service. Many will have a place where you can put up your business card.
Look into retirement communities, mobile home parks, RV resorts, campgrounds. There are many opportunities here.
Commercial pool decks are a great place to use BARC to remove rust from pool chairs. Hotels/motels/resorts.
Look for driveways in nice neighborhoods that have orange stains on their driveway. Pass out door hangers.
Look into newsletters or monthly magazines that communities around you distribute to their homeowners. This can be a source of inexpensive advertising.
Some HOA’s give tickets to their homeowners for oil, rust and battery acid stains on their driveways. Call around and ask communities around you if they give infractions to homeowners for dirty driveways. Again, see how you can advertise to them. Ask to do demos for large groups. Some places are large and have “delegates” assigned to a location of the neighborhood. Get together with the delegates and offer discounts to entire streets at a time.
Direct mail areas with bad driveways.

Question 2) - How would you price your services?

Most F9 Restoration Contractors charge from $0.50 to $1.00 a foot for professional rust removal, depending on the severity of the concrete and the projected amount of material needed. Vertical surfaces from AC vents, window sills etc are charged on a spot bases. Building restoration is another great source of income and the pricing varies.

Also-We will have an F9 sealer available soon. Many contractors charge in the $.50 a foot area for sealing concrete after being restored with F9.

Question 3) - What would you say have been your money maker clients?

For us, living in a golf area with lots of retirement communities bring business from their golf carts leaking battery acid on their driveways. In many of these communities, they have an HOA that will give infractions to the Home Owner if they have certain stains in their driveways. Orange battery acid staining is one of them. By advertising in their newsletters or magazines this has been a very good monthly source of revenue.

Question 4) - What is the mixing ratio for F9 BARC?

Professional strength F9 BARC needs to be diluted 2:1, two parts F9 to 1 Part Water at a minimum. This will give you full strength F9 capable of removing orange flash acid burn and fertilizer rust stains, the two most difficult of all the orange staining to remove. On porous surfaces like concrete, bricks and pavers we use this strength. For less porous surfaces you can dilute it down more. You may need to play with the dilution ratio for your particular area and stain because the rust produced in one area may be different than rust produced in another area. We prefer to use full strength (2:1 F9 to water) and will just use less product vs. diluting the product down.

Craig,

Thanks for all the useful info you just gave. I'm sure this info will help a lot of guys out here. Definitely let me know when you release the F9 sealant as I would be interested in that.

Look forward to discovering what else F9 can do and informing you as it comes my way.

I navigated to the very first post on this sub-forum and it looks like F9 is something everyone knows about already. Is there a different sub-forum to learn about F9?

Thanks
