Dealing with EX Employees

Get a lawyer and let them explain the repercussions to the ex-employee. Beyond that, do what you have to do (just don't get caught doing it).

I just had a similar issue and I posted about it on this board as well. What worked for me is getting my lawyers involved. My lawyers sent them a letter and it ended quickly.

I have 2 different lawyers. The lawyers that drafted my Operating Agreement and handle my serious issues and they are like $225 an hour or something like that. But for circumstance like this I believe I pay like $40ish a month for a service formally called Pre-Paid Legal now called Legal Shield. I would recommend it to any small business owner just for the collection letters alone. Instead of having to go through a collections agency if someone is not paying our lawyers send them a letter and I usually get paid right away unless they filed bankruptcy. They let you send like 5 letters a month and 5 phone calls asking questions. They will even call people for you. They work with large law firms in every area. I find it to be a great service, well worth the money.

Im going to give them a call
