Some say oils and waters don't mix and that some of the newer products just don't make sense that are combinations of both but did you know that Leonardo Da Vinci was one of the first painters to use oils? He actually mixed colored powders with linseed oil and then mixed it with water. The pigment is first suspended in the oil and then that is suspended in the water.
