StreetBid Looks Like a Really Great Sales Tool, I would contact Josh Assistant Daniel

Street Bidder will be at this years PWRA Pressure Washing Convention.. Stop by and see them..

I guess what everyone wants to know are they exclusive to your distributor org Pwra ?

Does this mean they will have to pay 349 to get all the use of the entire product.

Can you send one street bid for on .50 or are there quantity minimums and what are they ?

If you could what would you change now about the product that's a negative?

These are questions I have for Josh but so far cannot answer in 48 hours. Daniel assure he would so its not off to a great start pr wise.

I also asked if he could attend the Iowa event to tell people about the software, no response.

No matter how good a product if your not ready to handle the demands you will have done growing pains.

I've looked nothing with similarities to this product. If it works I will imagine will have others attempt a knock off.

Maybe will get a call from josh ?

Iowa July 19 & 20 free free text me for more details !!

Daniel told me he is a window cleaner and would get his partner to call me as he didn't know the answers I was asking of him. I'm thinking you are posting the wrong contact name might be part of the problem?

No they are not, only for the first 30 days. It will launch this Friday to PWRA members, 30 days after that it will open to the general public.

NO

There is a regular monthly fee of $39.95 for the general public and PWRA members get a nice discount off the monthly fee which is $29.95 Hundreds of different mailing templates are now being created for the product. PWRA members get access to a special line of premium PWRA only templates. SO thats a nice bonus for members.

$120 a year savings and the premium templates.

Yes with a plan you can send one card at a time if you like for .47 cents - So for the cost of a stamp, its gets printed, and mailed with in 2 days.

It works off a credit system where you can buy blocks of credits, 1 credit = 1 dollar.

You can buy credits in 3 different tiers, as long as you buy the high tier 1,000 cards you get the .47 cent price. The lower tier of 100 credits your cost is 79 cents a card. So it makes sense to buy 1,000 at a time.

You dont need to send 1,000 at a time and the credits do not expire.

If you could what would you change now about the product that's a negative?

Well its a first iteration app, so the interface isnt as pretty as a mature product.. But there is already plans to improve that. Functionality wise it works very well, and is extremely stable.. It does exactly what it says it should.

These are questions I have for Josh but so far cannot answer in 48 hours. Daniel assure he would so its not off to a great start pr wise.

Well you have to understand this is all new to Josh. He never expected the demand for it to be so high, and this is much bigger than the pressure washing world. There is a list of 30 industries that this will launch into.

His concentration now is app functionality, doing press and media interviews. If they answered every phone call that came in, it could detract from a successful launch. Give him sometime, he has a great product with amazing scale.

You are welcome to divert your questions to me, I would be happy to help you out.

I also asked if he could attend the Iowa event to tell people about the software, no response.

Street Bidder will be doing a number of events this year, the first one being the PWRA Convention in August.

No matter how good a product if your not ready to handle the demands you will have done growing pains.

Phone support isnt the model for all companies, Amazon for example considers a phone call a failure metric. Every time they need to get on the phone with someone they consider it a failure. Support these days can be mostly handled online.

Yes a call center is currently being built to handle the demands. And I would imagine it will be fully up and running by the time they officially launch to the public at the end of July. A robust online support system is also being built, you can see the start of it here: http://streetbidder.com/answers/

But for the most part the majority of the info is being put out through the FB group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/StreetBidder/

You can see 15 or 20 of the latest templates up there now.

I've looked nothing with similarities to this product. If it works I will imagine will have others attempt a knock off.

Oh Im sure someone will, fortunattly for Josh its a very complicated back end process and printing situation so he is first to market advantage.

Maybe will get a call from josh ?

I wouldn't expect that anytime soon, dont take it personally. In the meantime Im happy to help answer any questions you may have.

thanks for your interest Ron.

Chris it Seems You and Josh are Partners in this? You say no but its pretty obvious your saying ask ME ME ME i can help you. If I call Bidslot I get April on the phone, I do not See you saying you will handle her calls.

So are you doing the mailing End for him?

Chris Just please disclose your Part if there is any. Then I will understand why Josh isn't calling me back.

Hi Ron

No we are not partners. I am an enthusiast of his product for sure though.. Its going to completely change my contractor business.

We do not do the printing for him, its a very specialized type that we have no ability to do. We are however helping him create the first round of templates, for over 30 industries The PWRA does have a strategic alliance with Street Bidder as we do with a lot of other companies.. you can see most of them here: http://pressurewashingresource.org/member-discounts/

Plans are in place for many premium PWRA templates for members, so we have been involved in helping getting the program going. As I mentioned above, I do more direct mail then most so I have been assisting Josh with things a bit. I love the product and Im happy to help.

Please Pass on to him Would love to give him a 45 minute Spot in IOWA on the July 20 Sat, let me know when you talk to him. Thanks

based on chris's explaination...it looks like a terrific form of advertisining ..thad was right it could changef (or me) a cheap way OF ADVERTISING

I don't think it's cheap David 3% return !! Sounds like high end use only for sure. Not saying that it won't work I just think it will be another tool. Working for commercial wont be easy on this one either. Getting info like this on the right desk is key.

Been using the photos of people's Propery myself for 15 years. If you look at my photos or video you see this program is nothing new to me.

Looks like it could be a good thing, only time will tell. IMO I'd only use for large upscale homes, but the problem with that as I see it, and this is what I have learned for my area, is most of these home owners, do not want any pictures taken of their home. When we do the very large homes, we are specifically told that we are NOT allowed to take pictures of their home(s), some have allowed us, but the majority tell us no. We have also learned that very few homeowners of these type homes ever see their mail, they have people that take care of all that stuff for them. In fact in some cases we NEVER even meet the home owner. We deal with their representative, estate manager, PA, etc etc.

I have also learned to be patient and hold off with anything new like this, as 1) there are always many bugs that have to be fixed after it is released, and 2) there is always some one that will come out immediately after with a newer, better, cheaper version.

I do think it is a great idea, just doesn't look like something I'd use. But hey, you never know...

I understand some my not feel comfortable about shooting pictures of a specific property

however i dont see anything that would keep you from sending a picture of a different property/picture of your work/or your cute dog ..lol

I think I like the delivery method....

I dont know how many times a day Im driving and see.something that needs service and never send it ....

Do you consider a 3% response rate good Ron?

Some math..

App Fee - $39.95
Cards sent - $470 - I sent 1,000 @ .47 each.
-----------------------------
Total Spent - $509.95

Now the unseen expense here is time invested collecting those 1K pictures.. 10 hours.. BUT.. Ill never have to do that again and next time I can literally resend in under 1 minute. So I start to get that 10 hours back because normally it takes way way longer than a minute to prep and send 1,000 cards. Driving, database research, picking a design, stamping, labeling delivery etc.. it takes hours..

33% Response rate
27 % booking rate

27 jobs booked of varying values, I just averaged them out and the average comes to $262.38

$262.38 x 27 jobs = $7,084.26

I know its different in your commercial world, but for a residential guy like me.. Ill take those #s all day.

Each of those jobs cost me $18 bucks or 7% of the job.. My normal advertising spent is around 10% of the job..

Working for commercial wont be easy on this one either. Getting info like this on the right desk is key.

I believe your right about that.. That reason alone will make it tough for commercial.. Larger stuff at least.

Been using the photos of people's Propery myself for 15 years. If you look at my photos or video you see this program is nothing new to me.

Pictures are powerful, we always use them on estimates and bids.. What is new is the automation and ease of it all.. And of course the price. The price of the whole thing is super low compared to other ways of mailing.

3% is a pretty good return, and depending on your average job price could yield into some good money, and at . 47 a post card that's great. However the time it takes to collect the pictures is a huge huge time consumer, during the winter months when things slow down for residential and if you have time to kill this would be good, but then you have to pay the monthly fee and not do any mailings until winter is over. I really don't like the idea of putting in al that work of collecting pictures and making a data base that they keep and charge you for, I'm on the fence right now.

I think you might be surprised Doug. Our service area is right outside NYC, its as high end as it gets. Our first test was to a town called Franklin Lakes

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Lakes,_New_Jersey

It is ranked as the 18th highest per capita income in the country. They seemed to be very open to it.. Its becoming more and more accepted I think.. You can get the photos for the most part right from Google street view.. so its out there anyway.

I have also learned to be patient and hold off with anything new like this, as 1) there are always many bugs that have to be fixed after it is released,

Its been used daily by multiple companies for the past few months, it has been running completely bug free for the past few weeks.. Everything seems to have been ironed out.

They do allow you to suspend your account for 90 days at a time.. the guy that built it is from Michigan so he can relate to log winters..

I was pretty concerned about the collection time as well, but over time I found the opposite was true. Once you have the data mailing literally takes a minute.. Over time it ends up being way less time consuming then any other type of mail.
