I like the idea of doing a house/ or ten / or fifty when I see them. maybe I am lazy or something but the idea of spending ten hours straight doing this would just make me flip my lid. over a three month period you could whack out quite a few.

So it's easy to collect one (take pic, enter address, move on) every 15-20 seconds? The houses must be pretty close together out there and huge subdivisions to boot where you could do it that fast. Here it might be more like 15-20 and hour if you wanted to get a good pic and not rush thru the process. So for a solo operator I don't think 100 and hour is at all a realistic number.

I see it not only as a postcard for bid estimates ...I see it as a thank you card ..also the 6/7 jobs I finished tonight/this weekend had dramatic before and after pictures I could see sending 2 or 3 postcards (depending on the templates available) to the same customer...50 cents (or less ) I don't believe their is a cheaper delivery system out there...point... shoot... send ...
 
as far as the concern of shooting pictures of the exact property ,,I may not feel comfortable doing this ..(.for me personally) ..However I don't think anything precludes me from shooting a similar property and substituting another picture..... the picture could be anything ...

How about one if those for his neighbors, you stole my idea David. I send all the competitive places my clean stores card. Everyone wants to keep up, especially the Jone's.

What's funny is your genius idea will be there's in a couple days.

They have never done it and do not even realize how powerful it will be.

I would imagine there's a signature home in almost every neighborhood as well.

I know Doug's house he wants to do a half Deno on. This would be a perfect stunt to pull and the neighborhood.

Wouldn't this be similar to the send out cards? I think they can do postcards also.

You log in and upload pics and then they mail them out.

I don't know if you can setup templates or stuff like that but I was wondering about this.

Ron you are light years ahead of me ....I suspect any thing I have thought of today you thought of/or have done 5-10 years ago (in business /pressure washing)

Chris you might be right ...but think about this for a second ...for the first time you will be able to send one card (if you choose)If your a small company and you decide (for example ) a picture of a mcdonalds/ starbucks etc, once you shoot a picture of the property and add the address's it set in the system ...now chris lets assume their are 20 mcdonalds in corpus Christi..and lets assume your bored one day you push a button and all 20 business get a picture post card for a grand total 8/10 dollars ... pretty cool

David, I think what Ron is talking about is the one page individualized flyer of demos with pricing on commercial properties that Ron has been passing out to interested contractors at every roundtable at least since I met him in 2008.

We have used it to get many commercial accounts. Run the demo, snap the picture, print it on good glossy paper, drop it in the mail and follow up with a visit with the same picture in your hand.

Costs a nickel to print, two bits to mail and you don't even have to upload your customer base to somebody else's database who might be in the market to sell those addresses to your competitor if you ever stop playing ball.

Win/Win - and Ron has been promoting it for at least 5 years.

IMP There is no "safety" or security Chris. They own it, they can ultimately do what they what to with it. Just like any other data based company.
