The Cleaner

Vetran Washer 30 Years Plus
We cleaned a shingle roof the other day where a customer had sprayed some of that on his roof about a month ago. Did I mention that he called us to come clean his roof???

The Miami Marlins???? Whoa, now that's official....this product has been out for several years. Here is one like it in the garage of a home I cleaned recently. The customer said the product did not work, and after figuring how much of he would need to clean his house, got smart and called us. Did I mention they called us to clean it??

Doug new marketing line "WE FIX SPRAY and FORGET ROOF CLEANING"

I think that those companies out there don't take into consideration how hot it is down here in Texas, the stuff probably evaporated before it hit the surface.

I wonder how many of those stores will let the customer bring back the bottle and receipt after 2-6 months when the stuff does not work, I wonder how they will like all those returns?

I just took all my equipment to the scrap yard. Guess I will get into dog grooming.

Had a customer pay me to apply "wet and forget" on their roof. Then had the same customer call me to quote washing the same roof. If I remember correctly that stuff was like $38 a gallon.

The Sky Is Falling, The Sky Is Falling!

I cleaned a roof not long ago and there were two empty bottles of that laying in the trash pile when I got there. They were getting their home ready to sell and said they needed the roof to look better right away. I also upsold the LONG driveway, house and pool deck and enclosure. $1800.00 later...... Thanks Spray and Forget!

similar crap has come on the market here in New Zealand recently Called "WET AND FORGET." Being in the pressure wash industry I watch the adverts on TV and wonder to myself how people can be so sucked in. The line in the advert says something like "spray and walk away mother nature will do the rest." Mother Nature's going to be very busy running around cleaning up after that stuff. Funny thing is they never do a follow up of a house that has been treated to show just how effective it is.

We get the embarrassed customers who ask if we will charge extra to remove that crap from their roof. Spray and Forget, some call it Spray and Regret .
There are some ways to do it correctly, in a time released fashion, but that is for another thread ....
