I have my first big proposal, but I'm not sure what all this job will take.

1. Should I:

a. Get a 24ft. Extension Wand
b. Rent scaffolding?
c. Risk a ladder?

2. In your experience, what are the highest reaching soap tips and practices?
3. Will the window washing pink and blue tips work? Anyone used them before?

My current equipment:

NorthStar 3000 psi 4 gpm hot/cold water unit trailer mounted
36" bent tip wand
79" bent tip wand
100' + 50' High Pressure hose

Thanks in advance!

I would suggest for your 4 gpm machine 0030 1/4 meg nozzles for the highest and get a 1530 and 2530 for the lower work to soap or maybe the guys that run 4 gpm machines might reccomend 0020 1520 and 2520 not sure. I would also suggest 10 gpm nozzles for ribsing to lower your pressure down....ie 0010 1510 and 2510. Just me but I would also get 45 degree fan patterns. Read read read search and learn.

Don't waste your money on the yellow noodle. You might occasionally want to use a 7 foot wand.

What makes a nozzle "meg"? Do you think they're sold at Northern Tool?

CL, I have some nozzles here that will help you with that. You can borrow them if you need too till you get the right ones. Call me tomorrow afternoon if you want and I'll help you any way I can

Wow Doug. Wow! Thanks. That is really awesome... I will definitely do that!

X-JET

Downstreaming, that job should take less than 2 or 3 hours with a good house wash mix.

Cl. believe it or not that is a fairly simple job. The majority of your mess is mold and with te right house wash mix can be melted away pretty quick. It will take couple of applications but it all should fall off easily. no ladders or 24 foot ext. poles needed.

Ok, so now here's the $1,000,000 question... What do you consider a good house mix? (I have SH beads and cling-on)

I do very well with a 4:1 (Water:SH) or 20% mix. A little soap help's it stick in place a little longer.

Oh... can I have the million bucks now? LOL

X-jet, or downstream the middle section with a 4' to 6' extension and the rest is easy. Good luck
