Is the Tucker brush the best you've ever used?

I used to think so. Until know. Don't get me wrong the Tucker brush has been my personal favorite for many years. It has several great features that make it a great performing brush for water fed pole work. However I have know found what could be the best brush on the market.

Not bad, I have a gardiner as well that I love. But you are right the hose line definitely needs to be thicker and the jets as well. I heard Unger has thicker jets that you could drill yourself into the brush. The on;ly thing I wish gardner had was wider brushes like the ones that Unget sales. I often thought about getting a wide Unger brush and attaching it to my Gardiner pole.

Gardiner has wider brushes and sill brushes. In fact they have both those options in the same bristle as the one I have in the video. As for the jets I may do that myself to this brush and see how it goes. I like the way Unger does their jets in the nLite but I'm not crazy about the bristle set up.

Agreed. I saw their bristle setup at a window cleaninh event and was a little confused as little bristlea there was for such a big brush. I like to demo an unger brush and see how pairs up to other brushes. I didn't know gardiner made wider brushes. I'll have to check it out and see.

Hey tony which pole do you recommend between the one that you have on the video or the unger nlite series? The reason I asked is because I will do windows also use for gutter cleaning and attaching either pole to my softwash systems wand for higher cleaning ala no ladder involved ! Haha.. What might be the price difference between the two poles?

The price on the SL-X is way better than the nlite so I'd highly recommend the Gardiner range
Here's the website for ordering http://gardinerpoles.myshopify.com/
With the new Q Lok brush attachment it's even better for the type or work you are looking to use it for.
As for price difference the nLite would be $1100 for the carbon fiber nLite or $730 for the carbon fiber SL-X Gardiner (both with brushes)
After that you can get extra brushes for the Gardiner ( I think dedicated brushes for different work are best) for $50 or for the nLite it would be $75 for an extra brush

PS I should have mentioned that the nLite requires additional sections after 22ft (which I figured into the price) so you would need to add a section to the nLite every time you go above 22ft. The Gardiner doesn't do it that way, however if you need to go higher you can add more sections to the Gardiner later. The prices are listed on the website above.

Here's a video of Ac using an an Unger pole for soft washing. I like the attachment he made that allows you to soft wash a roof from the ground. But I would think that you would need two hose running through the pole. One for soft washing and the other for your DI or rinsing water. If not that I know you wouldn't want to use the same hose for window cleaning and soft washing. At least I wouldn't. The Unger has clips on the outside that allow the hose to be placed outside. Since you can also go inside the pole this would be the second hose. There is a bit of warning that I am concerned with when using a pole for soft washing and that is you will have to be carrying the whole weight of the pole. When doing water fed pole work you can lean the brush (except when rinsing) against the window and that takes some of the weight off but holding a pole straight up and down. Even worse if you have to hold it at an angle. Just have to weigh out the pro's and cons, but I still think it's a good idea even despite the small flaws.

Yeah I was looking at the gardiner waterfed pole and the water runs threw the pole then I could wrap the softwash hose around the pole killing 2 birds with one stone. Ac did a dimenstration with the racenstine pool at the Cali softwashapolooza it was pretty neat no more ladders hahah!! The system that I bought has to differ t hose setups one for the ro/ di tanks and the other just for the softwash chemicals.

Either way you go I'm sure you'll be happy the Gardiner and nLite are both top level poles. It really depends on your business model and how high you will be using the pole. If you don't have to add the extra sections a lot and the extra money isn't and issue the nLite would work well. Otherwise I'd strongly recommend the Gardiner.

Normally it is. One cleaner has modified his so he can add pure water to the pad without bringing down the pole. Sort of a wfp wagtail hybrid. As far as I know there is no one making them to sell that way though.
