The title says it all. List what you are looking for as a member of any of the orgs that are out there?

What can the org do to help you attain the goals you set for growing your business?

Be honest in what your really seeking when joining the orgs.

The only way we can move forward in anything we do in life (Business) is to have a goal, a plan to attain the goal and the resources to help us meet that goal.

We have a program in infant stages, we need to direct it to them. But building a Model we can repeat throughout the country.

I want to see more educational projects out there. Like Training and mentoring. Not just hands on, but with the use of private Webinars doing sales, or marketing ideas. Kind of wish the UAMCC would maybe put together a univeristy, maybe an online university where we could learn from our computer. Just some brain storming ideas. Maybe a program where they focus on the individuals weakness to better them.

Not sure if it is in the works but a nice brochure of the real CWA bulletpoints or other information (not mis-information like others in the industry are doing) to give out to the regulators, city officials and other ahj's to show them that there are a lot of us that know the truth, understand the situation and are complying to keep the US waters clean and to help rid of pollution so that it does not make it to the US waters.

Something to show that this Professional Organization is doing the right thing, helping contractors around the world to do the right thing and helping educate contractors in many aspects of washing to not only do the right thing but to also help protect the environment in their community.

Another one that comes to mind. Craig Harrison has a video of doing a driveway and there's a certain technique that he uses in that video that I implement in my flatwork. Even Ron's video on how to remove gum without damaging the surface is also valuable. Some short technique videos would be good, especially to the newbies who may not know how to properly do something. Even some maintenance videos as well. Really there could be many types of videos made that could help a contractor understand no matter how long they've been in the business.

Funny you say this because the idea of having more videos just came up. UAmCc needs a video module

Oct event San Diego free free text me for more details !!

An Electronic Magazine would be a good idea also.

I posted over on facebook more about this but I think that this Professional Organization has enough members, vendors and manufacturers to have articles in it every month or 1.5 months.

I think that this is the next step for the Professional Organization.

I think that the members can email customers or potential customers the articles they wrote or articles of interest for helping to educate the customer and also to help increase credibility in the customer's eyes.

I think that the electronic magazine will help contractors, vendors and manufacturers in many different ways.

This magazine can help vendors and manufacturers promote their new chemicals, parts, equipment or rigs. The contractors can help other contractors by talking about their businesses, how they got started, problems they had, how they overcame the problems or how they got help, advice for the newer contractors, etc......

The Staff can have monthly articles of the things going on in the staff or BOD, new members, staff or BOD changes, Industry announcements, Industry events, New regulations or regulations that are going to be talked about in parts of the country, etc.....

I think that this can be a really great asset to the industry and Professional Organization and help a lot of contractors in many ways.

Hey Kris, is this something that you would like to help with. Maybe come up with a list of topics for videos. Then we can reach out to our members see who has possibly has videos on those topics. And have a few select ppl in the org do some of the topics.

if you can compile a list of topics I will start the recruitment of members to do work on videos.

Just to add one more thing. Having these types of video for our donating members would be a fantastic, but having a few teaser videos would be good marketing for non-donating members and even some free videos as well. Just to entice them a bit.

Hope that made sense, still feeling under the weather.

I agree with Kristopher on having teaser information and closes side. I have seen a lot forums started out free went completly to payed site all the member tell of the forums pay your dues then we will tell you how to better your business. By giving little taste of what the org has will draw new members in. How about marketing stuff like bifold flyers and postcards to use like some other payed forums have.

Kris,

That sounds good. You can email them to me xstreampressurewashing@yahoo.com. Once I have the list I will start the recruitment for the ppl to do the videos.

Christopher, Ron and I touched a little on this subject Saturday. Would you like to compile a list of marketing tools you would like to see?

I completely agree with all the things Kris stated. Having q video section where donating newbies like me can find videos easily would be super helpful.
