I have a simple one, a few weeks ago I was pw a house and let go of the trigger for a sec and stood there to see if I got every thing next thing I know a bird lands on my wand, then flies off. Its the little things in life right...

That one is Simple

A few weeks back I did the most expensive house I have ever washed. it was a simple house wash but of course I didn't want the slightest mistake. everything went well while I was there but I received a call 11 days later telling me there was a problem with some windows. I freaked out. I was suspicious of some and was confused at some things. I came here and asked some questions and received a ton of answers. I even called Bill over at the Power Wash Store. everyone that I spoke to was very helpful and some even asked how it turned out. In the end everything came out good and I got paid. The best part of it was that I had a place to go for help. I had a resource for my problem. with out these bbs I would have been talking to the insurance company. Thanks everyone I appreciate the help.

My boy (5) started baseball! Oh the memories.

Had a customer who wanted me to clean a property that is serviced by their other vendor, for the owners being in town because I do a great job.

Couple weeks ago my pressure washer would cut off when I let go of the trigger, I posted on here and Russ johnson from Southside equipment helped me figure out what I needed to do to fix it, it wasn't a direct replacement so he spent alot of time with me on the phone and through emails, he had me back in business in no time, thanks so much Russ

Try doing that with someone else. what do you think they would say? bring it in, or I don't have time, or what am I supposed to do? They sure as hell wouldn't go through the trouble to walk you through it. That's why I love the PWI. the group on these boards really do want to help.

Here is something nice.

I want to thank Jerry McMillan at PressureWasher.net, Cleaning Systems Specialists, for installing my custom wash and water recovery system in my 2007 Izusu truck with an aluminum floor, a Interlift brand lift gate, and a 20,000 payload. I also want to thank Keith at KBK GRAPHX for designing the wrap for the truck. It is a rolling billboard that advertises my company's image and capabilities. The wrap was installed by Wonderland Signs in Redding, Ca.

The wash equipment installed in my truck consists of 2 each 7gpm, 4000 psi pumps with an approximately 43 Hp Kubota Diesel engine and 2 large water heaters, 2 electric pressure reels, and an electric supply hose reel. I have 2 each, 21 inch surface cleaners, and 1 bad to the bone 30 inch surface cleaner. The 30 inch surface cleaner gives me the ability for making very quick work of cleaning flat surfaces with 14 gpm of hot water and water recovery when needed.

My recovery system has the another of the same Kubota 43 HP engine, a Tuthill blower for vacuum, with 2 sand trap, and 2 pump out tanks, and an electric vacuum hose reel. I can carry 550 gallons of water and can recover and filter the water in a oil/water separator, then filter in 2 other filter units and recycle the water in a 220 gallon tank, or dispose of the water according to local regulations.

Jerry has helped me start my business and Keith put up with me when I made changes to the graphic design of the truck. Both have been patient with me and completed their jobs in a manner that deserves my thanks.

i will be at the event in San Diego in October with my truck if anyone wishes to see a truly custom cleaning unit. I will post pictures of the system in the near future when I figure out how to post the pics from my Ipad.

I'm thankful to PWI and Ron for all I've learned about SEO. It's incredible!

Like Ron, I'm thankful for the memories of when my son played baseball (he's now 21). Tom, cherish the moments because they go by quickly!

Paul and Ron, thanks for the sunglasses!

And Russ, thanks for not just always being there, but for your honesty as well.

WOW! Man those shiny chimneys are something else!

Thanks to all the great members of PWI I have been able to expand my knowledge and expertise in the power washing and soft washing industry. I have learned so much and all the veteran members are always so willing to lend an ear to listen to your issues and help you address the situation properly. Without PWI I dont know where I would be with my pressure cleaning and roof cleaning business. I went from a weekend warrior driveway cleaner, to a full time soft wash roof cleaner and pressure washer in no time.

I posted this before, but I remember back 9 years ago when I was still just a weekend warrior and was pressure washing as a 2nd job. I used to have a different name on PWI under my families original company name, I was constantly lurking PWI, Reading, asking questions, reading, and asking more questions. I wanted more than anything to be the best pressure washing company I could be. But there was some aspects I just was not getting. Randomly I get a txt from Ron and helped address all the issues I was having. I never expected someone to go out of there way to help a young and dumb newbie. He was so willing to assist me in any way, I have never forgotten that and I am very grateful for all his valuable information that I still use to this day.

I would like to thank Ron for another 9 properties from yet another property management company this week.

I was unable to navigate the world of property management prior to meeting Ron.

His sales techniques will work for any type of service business.

I also want to thank a fellow coil cleaner Tom Cusick for constantly innovating and coming up with some techniques we use every day.

I want to thank the guys I met on here who are doing coil cleaning and filter service in other states with us. It is refreshing to know guys who will work on a handshake and the idea of ripping someone off never crosses their mind.

I need to thank Russ, Paul and Jerry for helping me when having equipment down could mean losing a job.

I need to thank Carlos Gonzales who taught me that there are still men out there who make mistakes and have the character to pick themselves up, face them, and move on rather than running from them.

And thanks to guys like Doug Rucker, Scott Stone, Ron and Larry Millette I have guys to talk to when I make mistakes and to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Thanks to everyone on PWI. I never got involved with any boards before this. I was a lone ranger. Now I have found a group of entrepreneurs with the same kind of drive and determination I have without the constant jealousy and suspicion that plagues most industries.

Thank you!

I'd like to thank Ron for having this forum. Without it I wouldn't have met so many other great contractors, WHO SHOWED ME I DIDNT NEED THE YELLOW NOODLE! Especially Doug and Adrian who showed me hands on! Also Dan for all the extensive pm'ing and emailing. Too many to name, but thanks all.

Improving my business is improving my life. Which improves the lives of others. Thanks again. CL

So, as you guys know, I've been going through a little bit of a hard time with restarting my business in North Carolina. Well, I have been getting so much help and support from so many people. Even from some unexpected places. Red redesigned my logo for me. (Something I've been wanting to get done for a while now.) He also custom design some awesome business cards for me and paid for 1000 of them to be shipped to me out of his own pocket. Ron and Guy have both called me to give me advice and guy even offered to give me any jobs he gets in Wilmington. Over on the PWRA forum Tim Fields and John T pitched in to have 2500 large post postcards with my logo and phone number on them mailed to me. Who would have thought John T would be helping out a UAMCC member. Lol

There are also a lot of other nice things people have done for me over the last month or so, but I won't go into detail about it because most of them have asked me not to say anything.

PWI, UAMCC, and now PWRA have all been huge helps to me, and I am extremely grateful for all the friendships I have made with such great people.
