All new guys Check in for a FREE www.powerwashstore.com GIFT here

New guy here. Been working on starting a new business since November. Have gotten lots of great help from other forums and am almost finished with Doug Rucker's online school. Haven't purchased any equipment, but I'm closing in on what I want. Hope to be set up by March 1 and get started part-time, with a full-time launch in the summer.

Hi everyone! Just posted to the new member's into section, but thought I would do so here as well. I'm Tim and I live in Southwest Iowa. I'm new to the pressure washing industry, but I am almost set to embark on my first endeavor as a new business owner. I'm looking forward to learning all that I can and joining the ranks of the self-employed.

Hi my name is Chris Voigts and I live in Eagle, ID. I have lived her going on 4 years. I am here to learn and getting all my ducks in a row getting ready to start washing. I have already learned many things from this forum.

Welcome to the forum Chris! Lots of good folks and information here....

Greetings All
I am Bill Sharp, the owner of Multi Pressure Washing service located in Brazoria County which is on the coast just south of Houston. Where the mosquitos are plentiful, and the humidity is high creating lots of mold and mildew that keeps me busy year round. I have been pressure washing for a few years now on part-time basis and recently retired from my full-time job. Now I am jumping into the pw business full time. I will give yall a heads up on why I cant be found at this time. I made the decision to go all out on this venture, so from now till after the first of the year, I took down my website which is being rebuilt to a more professional quality. I have also taken down my facebook as well for rebuild. My trailer is in my shop getting a total rebuild and updating equipment along with adding a soft wash system along with other things. I am also using this time to have a second knee replacement so I will be at it hard by spring time. I have been watching this site for awhile, and I am impressed on the fellowship and professionalism I see. I would like to not be a "stalker" anymore, and chime in now and then. Thanks for the opportunity to share thoughts and ideas with the group

Welcome to the forum Ryan and Bill. Lots of good info and folks here...

Hello
I own a soft washing & power wash company based out of Lexington NC that just started on the 6 of Jan. 2017
Yes,I am brand spanking new and getting my Logo and website designed by a local company as I type this and will update here as soon as I get the file.
I have been pressure washing (down streaming) residential homes as part of my lawn care business, but the lawn care part is fading out (LOT'S AND LOT'S OF LOWBALLERS here.....everybody that has a truck and trailer is pulling a mower here) and I was doing more and more house washing projects........so,I am going all in this year with a soft washing business !
Ordered my equipment (soft wash booster skid unit and a 8gpm@3500psi cold water unit (I plan on adding a HOT BOX),surface cleaner,more)... $10,000.00 plus from PWS ... plus parts to build my pressure wash trailer from PT...(hose reels,hoses,fittings).... $700.00 plus.. then chems,INSURANCE and MORE.....I should have $13,000 in my new business... all cash so NO LOANS TO PAY OFF !!! I HAVE BEEN SAVING UP A LONG TIME !!!
I have 9 large upscale house wash jobs ($450.00 to $650.00 each with driveway cleaning too) waiting for me to get started as soon as I get the equipment order freighted to me.
So I should be off to a great start for 2017 !!!
Just paid my UAMCC membership two days ago.. so, I am doing great !~
