Soft wash system second pump set up

I have possibly a dumb question, but being new i need to ask. I bought my water dragon skid from Paul that had the soft wash system on it. Currently only one of the two pumps are set up on it to pull from the chem tanks. I know that some people plumb the second pump to transfer full strength SH to the second tank to mix with water. My question is could I set up this pump to spray other chems out of a 5 gallon bucket? Items like sodium precarb and oxalic when cleaning wood. Possibly even stain for fences and decks. I think I would need enough tubing and a different gun to use versus the SH set up. Just curious if this is an option versus using pump up sprayers. Or should I just downstream most things? I thought I read you can't get sodium precarb strong enough to downstream, but I could be wrong. Any way love to hear input on this.

Yes you can Tristan....I don't think you would need a different gun...just different nozzles. We have use our second pump not only for transferring but spraying different chems as well. Of course we always rinse thoroughly between chems. We also have the F9 pump that we use for spraying different chems as well. We find it more convenient to use because of the portability..When using long hose from the Dual Pump you will find that a lot of your chem will get lost in the hose, depending how much hose you use, and this is another reason we use the F9 pump. We also have the Johnny pump for this which is the same as the F9 pump but a different wand set up.

Doug, do you have a picture of your F9 pump and Johnny pump? I am assuming these are small portable pump setups? Thanks!

David that is the F9 pump above. Just remembered I gave the Johnny pump to a local contractor here recently so I don't have it anymore. Main difference though is the accumulator and spray wand on the F9 pump.

Should those Batteries be in a BOX?

Yes and it comes with one. Had mine out charging it, when David asked for a pic I just went out and through it together real quick. Nothing is in the bucket and absolutely, the pump was never turned on and no one was hurt during this photo shoot.

The battery will run out faster , plus explode

Run out where?

I think he is meaning it will run out faster because it is a lawn mower battery and not a deep cycle, I didnt know they could explode though

ohhhhhh, sometimes its hard to tell when someone is being sarcastic on the internet lol

Yea triton you can.. I got bill to get me a 2nd accumulator and I got a nother fool of hose and use a extra hose reel I had.. I spray degreaser with one and 12% with the other one..

Thanks for sharing Doug. Here is a little portable setup I put together as I clean a lot of s.f. of rusty sidewalks and needed 10-15 gallons of oxalic acid mix for some larger jobs. This way I can mix one batch and just pull it along.
