Mixing it up

Its a good topic, but lets refrain from name calling and insinuations. Remember this is now a positive place!

I am not insinuating anything. Someone showed that man a video and made false claims that gave him a skewed perspective. That is a fact.

He couldn't remember the name so I didn't venture to guess. No matter who it was, if they didn't disclose the fact that a good portion of that black stuff was tire rubber they participated in trickery.

That is not going to fly anymore. No matter who is doing it.

I am positive of that. Being VERY positive! Lol.

I am ignorant and admit I Could be swayed either way. What would be nice is to have a class from someone that knows both sides and can arm us with the correct information and how to talk to our local regulators before the Cancer spreads further. This would be a good topic at round tables.

Come to Jerry's event next month in San Diego. Jerry and I will both be there for discussion and classes.

And Grant, I an not being negative, just reporting what is being encountered out in the real world of regulators. Unless we understand the past we can't prepare for the future.

This does sound like a good idea for a class for events like Round Tables and Conventions.

Tony does bring up a great point, the tire marks will look like oil when cleaning large parking areas and we want the public and property owners to know the truth and how we are cleaning responsibly and removing pollution so the rain events will not cause the pollution to reach the US Bodies of water.

We need the public and property owners to know what we are doing, how we are helping the environment, how we are safely removing the pollution, how we are environmentally aware of the situations we are working in, how we are trying to help educate the public and property owners of the truth about being environmentally friendly and how doing the right thing all the time does not double, triple or quadruple the cost of the work when it is routine cleaning unless it is a specific situation that needs excessive equipment or procedures to do the job where most routine cleaning jobs are affordable for the customer.

Maybe even put together a video showing cleaning with explanations on the runoff, what it really is so we are helping the customers and not scaring people or deceiving them.
The video can show different types of cleaning jobs and how they are done correctly and how it does not have to be excessively expensive and what to look out when scare tactics are used with them, we can show them the ways how the job can be done affordably, safely and without damage so they have peace of mind and not worry about getting fined or their property getting damaged.

Jon brings up a good point, if someone does not know that the black runoff when cleaning concrete is mostly tire marks, they might assume the worst and maybe even call someone about all the black runoff where educating them about what it is, how we deal with it and what to ask contractors to make sure they do the job right but without needing excessive equipment or that they understand the cleaning situation so nobody does anything wrong when doing the work.

Helping everyone out there understand that cleaning can be affordable, not need expensive equipment, how we safely remove pollution and how we can help the regulators understand this so there is no need for excessive or more regulations, just common sense.

There's really no both ways , stay out of ms4

The reality is your not a polluter , the people who want to insist they pollute are a problem. How ever we cannot stop what they believe.

If you want to be a polluter good luck. Most go out of business in a few years. The others have jobs and work part time telling others we are no successful and low ball.

That the most ridiculous part, I make great money and have stay profitable for years.

I how ever have watch the last of my brothers fall prey to the equipment sales men.

Before I allowed it because I dishy understand the horrible impact it would eventually have.

Stay out of the ms4 , local authority's do not have jurisdiction only the state has on private property.

We reduce pollution and to think we created this is false.

There is no choice , common sense and facts not dribble and broken promises of riches.
