Pay It Forward - Donating Services

From the old "Clean Across America" campaign I continue to donate at least one job locally a year to an association, church, or group that is for a good cause and need money for other projects. This year we fixed and restored some playground equipment for a local association that works on private funds for these projects. This equipment is in a lake community and this is a beach area where kids often come to swim and play with families.

Very nice work!

Thanks guys, they ended up putting a nice "thank you" in the community newsletter that they send out which I didn't ask for. Doing these jobs is always rewarding and the positive word of mouth is great for business reputation. It is also good for employee morale when they see you do these type of projects. Especially when they are involved because they actually step up their game on these projects too!

We are going to prep this Log Cabin Church for staining. Going to do it in honor of my Father in law who was a member and passed away this summer. All my brother's in law are going to help. They didn't know I was his son in law and were shocked when gave them the low low price of free. They don't need a full strip so that makes it a little easier on me.

This thread is awesome. After I'm able to support myself in the industry, I'm definitely reaching out to others.

Threads like these, and others of people helping people, really restore my faith that there are a few good people left out there! Keep em coming, and I can't wait to contribute.
