60 Bids Per Month

My partner and I have decided to give bidslot a try. We are going to subscribe to the 60 bids/month package, for the next 6 months. We will focus on getting more commercial flatwork, mainly gas stations and restaurants. My question is...for those of you who run similar campaigns, what kind of conversion rate are you guys seeing on your bids? We will be competitively priced, but are curious what to expect out of this kind of campaign. We are hoping for a minimum of 10% conversion. Also, would you expect 4th quarter to be a bad time to start something like this? Thanks for your help.

I did a 15 slot with Bidslot and can say I was very disappointed. I'm using two guys now that I just happened to meet doing a home . They have given me solid leads that have produced some great contracts for us. One lead has produced over $35,000 in 2 months. There working on there model now to go national. The leads that Bidslot produced were with people that could not make a decision but just were filling a slot. It was a waste of my time and money. I could have done cold calls and saved the money I put out and got better results.

Would love to know what your guys have going on, if you could put us in touch.

Assuming we are average at sales and are in line with pricing in our market, what would be a realistic close rate in month 1? Obviously we would set up a sales funnel and follow up system with these leads....but is a 10% close rate too much to expect in month 1? In other words, 60 bids per month, and in our first month, we land 6 contracts....too much to ask??

10% is realistic, could be higher though, depending on how aggressive you are being with your follow up. Your follow up system is the key to a good return. Some people think they can spend $200 on marketing and multiply their investment with no effort. It takes work, and effort, and you will get a good return on your investment. April shares this with each of BidSlot's clients from the start, and has a few different packages that vary from basic lead generation to full blown account management. How did your campaign go Bradley?

If you can't close 10% there is a problem with your follow up or leads.

You should be in the 60% plus range. Thats were we hover.

Make sure you get some type of guarantee you will be talking to the decision makers before you sign for Bidslot.

If there is a problem with your close rate it is your sales approach, not the program.

Or the problem is there program an not BidSlot ?

Leads are just that leads , BidSlot is not a magic closing tool but a lead generation system like the different lead programs we all should have.

I wonder what close rate would be if follow up attempts made? 20% 30%

David's proposal is another tool in the tool box.

Did this ever happen?

If so, how did it go?
