We are getting into our summer here in NZ ad one of the issues, as you are all aware, is the house wash drying on the cladding. Is there anything that an go in the downstream mix that would turn it to a gel on contact and hopefully staying wet for longer?

Roof Snot won't "gel", but it foams well for cling and wetness.

Are you trying to wash more than one side of the house at a time?

Sometimes you will have to wash less and then rinse so it does not dry.

We have hot summers here in Texas and once in a while we have to wash one side of the house and rinse or sometimes 1/2 of a side then rinse before moving on.

Hear what you are saying and yes am washing smaller area at a time. Trying to bet the heat. Just thought I would put the question just out of interest. "Roof snot" unavailable here in NZ would like to know what was in it though to see if I could get it made by my chem's supplier.

I know this is a few years old but anyone that can't get roof snot should look for lauramine oxide or myristamine oxide for a cling additive on roofs or siding
