Hang Tite Vs Roof Snot Vs Gain

trying the Gain game tomorrow on a roof.. 100 gallons of 2.5 water:1 SH.. how much gain?
I have used up to 48 ounces per 100 gallons, but usually from 16 to 32 ounces is plenty.
The more you add, the more you smell the scent of the Gain Ultra, and the better the cling.
Be sure you buy the right stuff, here is a video to help you

I have only used gain so far. Hard to beat $3 for 44oz, easy to find, helps the mix smell less harsh, grips well. What do you guys think of Hang Tite and Roof Snot? Pros, Cons???
I use half gain and half snot. Works good for me. In my opinion the gain helps with the non algae dirt that is in the roof. After all it is a detergent.

An all too common mistake, that's why I posted the video

I use Green Wash, only softwashing surfactant that...

1. 100% Biodegradable
2. Ships non-hazardous
3. Actually will remove, wash away algae and bacteria on its own.
4. Tested in a major shingle manufacturers lab.
5. Pays you back with SoftWash Systems System Tabs. Every gallon earns you dollars off your new SoftWash Systems Cradle Skid.
6. Cleaned in excess of now 80,000 roof since 1992.
7. Only softwashing chemicals with video and workbook modules on how to use and succeed with this chemical. (20 hours)

One ounce makes one gallon of softwashing solution and that one gallon cleans from 100 to 200 square feet depending on surface. Average 30 square roof uses 30 gallons with a cost of $6.04 to clean that roof. (not including your bleach)

Just a few thoughts.

Ok.. I need some guidance... I did 44 oz in 90 gallons... On flatwork, it was killer.. Really foamed up... On the roof, ran off like it was straight water.

44 Oz of what - Snot or Gain?

The price per batch of roof cleaning mix is negligible considering that roof snot stretches so much further. The question is who would you rather send your money to? Russ Johnson, who will go out of his way to help you any way you can? Or would you rather send it to Proctor and Gamble? I also don't think it's a very good look for customers to see you washing their roof with dish soap.

i used to be a gain/dish soap guy...but same would happen to me, works good on siding and flat work, but on roofs would just run off like pure water. I would even go as far as adding close to half a gallon if not more and it would work some what better but still more run off than I liked.

Then the next day I would have to amp the bleach up because average dish soap deterates the mix. There were even times I could see it not working as well at the end of the day and would have to boost it a lil bit to perform as it was earlier in the day.

then I bought a gallon of roof snot to try, and after the first use I was sold!! Clings like crazy and foams twice as good for siding and flat work, as well as takes less product to achieve the results. I instantly came home and ordered 2 5ers.

I make 200 gallons of mix everyday, and unlike before I never have to boost the product because snot doesnot deterate my mix. Works just as good 2-3 days later.

Before i I would go to several stores and straight buy them out of the soap I liked, sometimes making 3 trips a week, now I make an order when I get down to about 2-3 gallons. At my door step in 3 days, just the time and effort I save from running around after work to restock the truck is well worth it.

So for all that have not tried it, order a gallon or quart to try...you will never by dish soap or another foaming additive again

Heck of a testimonial for Roof Snot!
