Handing out flyers outside of Lowe's, Home Depot

I am thinking about trying this one in the spring, using college girls in company t-shirts to pass out promotional flyers at Lowe's, Home Depot, and other major hardware stores (or maybe Wal-Mart). Any one tried this one before? How can I get the hardware stores to allow me to do this?

Permission? As long as they are HOT college girls you need no permission
That's what I'm thinking/hoping LOL!

The idea behind hardware stores is that people there are already consciously working on their home improvement etc.

Everett has experience , I believe they worked with them doing a program.

You would think DIYer's would be the worst people to go for. I did the old baggie with a few rocks in it with an old postcard I had made up. The phone rang before I got to the end of the street. I just happened to hit a neighborhood that got letters from their HOA. I ended up with 5 driveways off that 150 postcards. Doing two of them tomorrow.

I gained some new customers just by being parked in Home Depots parking lot. I did not hand out flyers just had my truck parked with my signs. Another idea and I do this when I am parked is I will leave my business cards and flyers on my truck using my magnetic signs as the holder so that people walking by can take them.

Ive been told in the past Home Depot does not allow any For Profit orgs/companies to solicit on their property..Dont know if thats still the case or how Lowes or WalMart are..
This is correct. Just go knock on doors! Its simple and it works better then any gimmick you can think of. But if you do decide to do this send pictures of the girls. LOL

You will get calls. But many people will immediately toss the flyer to the ground. When enough grounded flyers get noticed HD or Loews may call you and threaten to come clean it up or they'll call the police. Ask me how I know.

I'll bet

I am pretty sure the management would chase off anybody passing out flyers on their property. Keep in mind, they sell pressure washers and stains, so they will view it as taking money from them. That being said, I am at Home Depot a lot for our house. I am always looking for a new project since we bought two years ago. I always have one of my polos on and always make a pass through the lawn equipment and stain aisles. If I see anyone in either of those aisles looking at at pressure washer or stain I pass out my card.

OK Ed, how do you know? It sounds like a good story.
