New chemical thoughts?

Ran into a couple guys at the bar the other day and found they are selling a new chemical called MonoFoil. It is a microbial and they say it should be used after a cleaning. The chemical will turn into thousands of spikes that impale any micro organisms that land, killing them. They state that it will keep regrowth of microbials from growing, and even smells from reoccurring. I think there are uses for it in our industry, but it is pricey at $75 a quart. One quart makes a gallon.

I saw this a couple of months ago. It is going the be the new "lysol" in a few years. It's already being used in hospitals. Nano technology.

Yes, these guys use it for stadiums and hospitals. It's made around the corner from where I live from what they said. I had a bad burn on my arm for about 4 weeks when I met them. They said put some on my arm and it would heal super fast. It was crazy fixed in like 3 days.

This has been out for many years. We marketed using the aegis microbe shield product to high schools and church nursery's a few years back. Got close on some big deals then the economy tanked. I think DuPont was the original developer of the product but there have been many copies come out over ther years. This product is in many of the items we use today, especially some clothing and shoe brands. Aegis is now Micro Ban. Many pro sports and colleges have there entire training facilities treated with it Especially their astro turf fields. It ends the spread of staph infections. As well as 1000's of other germ spreading illnesses.

How can anyone afford $75 per quart no matter how good it works? How would it be applied?

It's concentrated. Can be applied using a pump up sprayer, but an electrostatic sprayer is best...it cuts your chem cost by up to 70% and provides better coverage.
