Building Wash - Shouldn't be this difficult

Chris,

awww.. ok finally i understand what those tips were for. I didn't understand them at first. Ended up double checking and looks like i didn't have a proportioner insert in. Thank god it would of probably took twice as long. BTW i still have your door hangers up in my office. I'm using them as inspiration to eventually get into staining and sealing

Not sure how too take the first part of the quote. Was just trying too help.

1 gallon of SH + 4 gallons of water is approximately a 20% mix (by ratio). The X-Jet ratio (referring to the chart) without an insert is 1.6:1 which means your mix was cut down to about 62.5% (of the original 20%) resulting in a 12.5% final mix ratio. You would have had much better results if it were applied with a direct application pump (i.e. electric or air powered diaphragm pump).

Now, 2 gallons of SH + 3 gallons of water is approximately a 40% mix (by ratio) and with the same X-Jet setup will result in a 25% final ratio.

Not sure how the powdered chlorine would effect the final ratio, but upping the SH will definitely make a difference.
