New F-150

I just bought a 2014 Toyota Tundra..While i was always a Ford man, and still have an older F150, the price difference was about 3k less for the Toyota..so far very happy with it

Mike, nice trucks. I have a buddy who has a '13 Tundra. Big improvements to your '14.

With its aluminum body, would think the new F-150 will have to cost major more $?

I know two guys that have f-150 Supercrew V-6 Ecoboost turbos and both are only getting 11 MPG. Neither is happy at all about that.

I picked my Tundra up on December 13th..drove it to Florida and back right after Christmas..got 18mph highway..pretty happy..got the 4 dr crew cab with the short bed..What really made me get it is a budy of mine has a 2011 and loves it plus the truck is designed for towing trailers... I still have a 96 F150 thats a work horse though that ill keep around fro dirty jobs..lol

I'm waiting for U-Haul to put some of their F-150s up for sale. They have low mileage normally, have the 8200 GVWR package, set up for towing and have the 5.0L V-8 in them.

My 2011 F-450 with the 6.7L diesel gets around 13 or 14 even loaded. Loaded with 550 gallons of water, all the tools, equipment, ect I scale out at around 16,300 LBS. The truck is rated for 16,500 GVWR.

I bought a 2013 F-250 February of 2013.I love it.400 horsepower diesel engine pulls anything I hook to it.It gets 21mpg.Can't beat it for a 8,000 pound truck.

Yawn, a truck for errands maybe, not enough truck for me though. My wifes jeep crd can pull 7400 lb and gets 20 mpg when not pulling and that is actual, not made up numbers from the spec sheet. If I needed a grocery getter I would probably look at the new ram 1500 with the 3.0 diesel.

Have you had any problems with your truck? Mine saw the wrecker for the 2nd time tonight. I went to start it, it shut off and said "Stop Safely Soon" on the message display. Had it towed home and will have it retowed in the morning to the dealer.

My wife told me tonight "get rid of that stupid truck"

I already have one and it seems to like the dealership more than my driveway. I don't think the 2015 year models will be much different. The truck broke down again while I was pulling into the service drive this morning. Luckily it was only a sensor and I already have it back. I'm looking at getting a 2014 Chevy 3500 Flatbed with the 6.0L Gas Engine in it if the numbers work out with it.

I don't think there's another engine on the planet that's more proven or reliable than the Chevy small block.

Funny all of the utility companies around here have new 450's and 550's. Will Ford ever get it right?

Vince so far my truck has not given me any problems (knock on wood).I drive it everyday.Already have over 30,000 on it.I have had it for 11 and a half months.Wish yours would give you better service,I have been keeping up with your truck since it started given you trouble. It almost made me not get a Ford.I have only heard of a few F-250's with the 6.7 having any problems but I have heard of several 350's and 450's having problems.A friend of mine bought a 2014 Chevy Duramax 3500 flatbed lastnight. Its a nice truck. The bed has built in toolboxs.Never seen one like it before. Its a knapheide custom bed.A flatbed will be my next truck.I am so tired of pulling a trailer.

Vince, Make sure to listen. A happy wife is a happy life.

Jeff, the other morning I was sitting alone at the kitchen table eating some cereal, when all of a sudden I noticed a picture of my ex-wife on the milk carton. I've been smiling ever since! "The Rattler" LOL

If it had been my ex on the carton the milk in side would have been sour for sure. She could curdle milk at 10 paces.
