Another Happy Client.

I didn't get a new washer, I am tying two washers together. A 4 GPM and a 4.6 GPM. I am saving up for an 8 GPM hot water machine. Hydrotek is my dream machine. But I might have to go for a pressure pro. I'm
Hoping to have a completely new set up at the end if July. Then I am changing my company name and going straight pressure washing/driveway cleaning.

I just did a driveway for the president of an HOA, and his neighbor and he just sent out 80 letters for dirty driveways. He is going to submit my name to the board. They are townhouses and the driveways are about 450 sq. ft. And a small walkway. At $60 a pop. I did two in an hour and 10 minutes today. That was with one 4 GPM machine. I should have a tank to hook up my other machine this week. My new machine might be closer than I had hoped.

Looks AWESOME Ralph! How is your EDDM campaign going?

Haven't got the final versions of the cards. Reds going to get me a few different versions, so I can tailor them to different developments. I just got another call from a customer that got an HOA letter. They are all over the place. This one is a 900 square foot driveway, so am going to send $99 driveway cleaning cards to that neighborhood, and see what happens. I love HOA driveways, they are sooo easy to clean.

I've been seriously reevaluating the driveway cleaning approach to get into gated communities. Once I get in, I can up-sell everything else.

I try to sell everything I can. It seems like the rich people are the cheapest though! I have good luck upselling pool decks/lanais. But when i try to sell them a house wash, they seem to only want the soffits and trim cleaned. I really can't sell gutter cleaning in the off season because most of these developments don't have trees. And if they do, people still don't want it done until right before the rainy season.

had a guy tell me he wanted only the soffits and pool cage done (stuff he couldn't reach). I gave him a price after looking the job over. Before I started I went back to him and explained that the runoff from my cleaning solution may leave streaks on the walls beneath. Started cleaning and before I got 50 feet, he came back and asked how much to wash the house? lol ... I gave him a nice break and he said go ahead and do it. CHA-CHING

Ralph, I don't remember who said it but the point was gravity exists everywhere. You cant wash someones soffits/trim without rinsing the drippage that went onto their house. Cleaning only the soffits is either dirtying the house bot not rinsing the debris that is shot there, or you are doing it for free. Try to explain to them that. Where does the water go after it hits the soffet? On the side of the house of course.... So the house needs washed too. There is no such thing as just cleaning the soffit.

Ralph Q asked me to design him an EDDM postcard. So what do you think?

What does this specific QR code actually link to?

If you can send EDDM to specific developments, then either your postal carriers are wimps or your developments are larger than ours. Here most of the routes seem too large (500 to 900 homes) to target a specific development.

One of them has 4000 houses in it. There is some overlap but I don't care. Developments around here range from 200(townhouses) to 4000 (which is actually a bunch of different hoa's in the same development. I might catch a few stray houses outside the development or miss some.
