This customer applied Behr concrete stain (paint) from H.D. On there in closed patio. Within months it was failing badly.

I should have takin more pics.
First pic is after the first attempt of removal. The darker color is what was remaining. It took two attempts to remove it all.

The concrete was in pretty bad shape (spalling). I recommended a few different methods to bring it back to life. They chose the cheapest. But we're very happy with the final results.

Golden State Pressure Washing applied an actual concrete stain that will not fail.

This is a pic of the patio after most of the stain was removed. One of the worst spots.

This concrete was very old and was outdoors for many years before the enclosure was built. It would not take the abuse of a turbo. In fact I don't even have one.

The stripper is actually water based.
Send me a text and I would be happy to share with the pro's that have the correct equipment.

The results of the home owner applying the stain was terrible. Imagine the results of them trying to strip.

Nice job on that, Chris. Stripping and resealing concrete can be a profitable service but can sometimes be the job you wished you'd never had taken on. Most of the jobs out by us, companies are laying down polyurethanes and epoxies. These can be pretty tough to strip up, especially when multiple layers were laid down.
 
Hey Chris .. Did Behr pick up the tab on that job? We did a large driveway in Ventura county where customer used the behr stain per directions and it failed. Behr paid us to remove and recolor. We used newlook solid color stain.

I didn't know that was an option. I'm really surprised they would. As in my personal opinion it will always fail. I don't know how they get bye calling it a stain. It flakes off like paint chips. A true stain penetrates the concrete. And does not just cover the surface.
