What makes a video good? Let's share...

Mike,

Thanks for the feed back appreciate the honesty. We used a gopro hero3 using r3 mode during the footage. R3 mode is a wide angle.

Do you have any video's? If so i'd love to see it.
How do you like the gopro? Thinking about adding it to my tool box. Below is my Youtube channel I think your video depends on your intended in use. I do love professional looking videos personally, of course all of mines are self made. Which works for my intended end use.

Although we are in our infancy stage when it comes to videos we have produced 12 videos(https://www.youtube.com/user/poconoroofclean1/videos).

What do you think is the most productive catagory (Education, Film & Animation, How To & Style, People & Blogs, Science & Technology) to list videos to reach your targeted audience?

I'm always willing to learn so I'll take any suggestions that are offered.

Hank

Hey mike V
Whatever happened to that 48" surface cleaner you were working on?

It is completed and runs like a champ, the only flaw in my design that needs correcting was not taking into account the tension on the belt between the pulleys and then of course the drive shaft making it VERY difficult to pull start. I broke multiple starter ropes before figuring it out. But with all new ideas, there is a learning curve and additional work that needs to be done. I know how I am going to correct it and make it more user friendly for the field but I've been traveling quite a bit and busy with kids and basketball so put it on the backburner. I will post video when done.

Hank,
I don't think it matters for the niche market we are trying to target. I think if tagged properly your potential customers will find your videos.

Why not add a lever to let the tension off the belts like a professional lawnmower. Then after it is running engage the belts.

I'll stick to hose reels mike , time savings out weigh all the above. Lower production and higher payroll make up for all those objection you state above.

It sounds like you have used junk reels?

I also could see on residential if there longer hose reels making it often more difficult to maneuver. We roll in and out average 10 times a night the cost of hand rolling would be crazy

hey mike v, random, but that bob jones guy that left you a google review... very eccentric character I must say lol

Kris great video an I must say those before and after pics are very impressive for a man just starting out.You are off to a great start.
