Cheap water reclaim

Yeah, I carry a similar one as my secondary back up incase something happens to my primary. Has a garden hose hook up right on the top so you can redirect the water to landscaping or your waste tank, auto pump out, etc.

I use a shop vac with the pump out feature and it works good for me but doesn't work well with sludge. I usually let water run through an oil boom. The oil boom catches most of the sludge. When I'm done I scoop up the sludge and put into a garbage bag for disposal.

Can you buy that locally so you can return it when it breaks? It should work fine.

Regarding the sludge issue just filter with a berm before it gets to the hose OR buy some synthetic swamp cooler pads and put them around the pump intake inside the vacuum. Of course if you do that you will have to empty out the sludge frequently.

We use something similar. We have since purchased those filter/gutter critter from the UAMCC at the San Diego Event. Place a couple of them before the waste water gets to the vacumn intake location. Those filters do a good job in picking up the oil so we are not getting a ton of sludge. We also use the oil socks and etc.

We used the Nikro DP 55230 for years. Your pressure washer can power it if you have the generator. You'll need to plumb a sump pump in it though so it does require a little bit of work. We started with Nikro's about 14 years ago until we could get into a Sirocco. It looks like the price went up.. so actually by the time you get a sump and tools to plumb everything you might as well get one of Jerry's PEV's and have it work ready.

Whats the inside of that collector/Primary shut off look like that is sitting on top of the blower?

Empty. We bypassed that and used the drum to collect debris. I don't know anyone that was happy with the R2D2 on top of these Steel Eagles.
