running 2 machines

hey guys, where can i get the fitting to run 2 machines together?
got 2 4gpm machines and have been wanting to try running them together for quite awhile now

awesome, thanks.
from what I hear, going from 4 to 8 on a house wash is a HUGE difference, and seeing that I've never used 8, I may need to clean a couple driveways 1st haha

I think you can just use a 1/2 tee that they use for natural gas lines. That's what mine looks like. Then just screw your whip lines in it.

"The siamese kit is $105.00 plus shipping. As long as you've got trapped pressure unloaders without built in easy start valves, you're good to go. What pressure are you wanting to run...it must be the lesser of the two."
Asked the same question about a month ago, and that's what Russ said.

Al, you need to remount the check valves at the tee. The unloader needs the "rebound" of the hose flexing to unload properly.

Why is that if there is a check valve in the line? Lowered my 5 GPM to 2300 but left my 3800 at3800. Now I have 4200 dead headed with almost 9 GPM. Cleaning is unreal with 8 GPM tips.

wait, I don't have an unloader on my machines.
does this mean I cant do this til I get one installed?
Also, some of the local distributors here don't recommend unloaders.
I forget exactly what they said, but something about maintenance.
I heard this second hand from and 18 year vet.
He said he fixes that stuff himself and its nothing.
I definitely plan on getting one though.
No matter how many times you tell employees to not point the gun right at stuff when they 1st pull the trigger, they don't listen.
It's like they wanna see what would happen if they did or something.
Had 3 different guys do this.
Luckily I don't trust anyone to wash houses, yet.
only concrete.

Hey Randy, What do you mean by that? I have a 4.6 gpm 3000 psi and 4 gpm 3500 psi machine, are you saying I don't have to adjust the pressure down on the 3500 machine? And if not, what will be the final pressure output. I have the siamese kit from Russ w/check valves. Upon researching this I could have sworn Russ said you had to adjust the pressure in the unloaders to be roughly the same.

EDIT:
Found another post where Russ said it doesn't matter because each machine is isolated with the check valves. It must have been a really old post before Russ started making the kits.

Talk to Russ. He's set these up for a lot of guys and they are supposed to work great, if not being a little of a PITA due to all the parts and potential for something to go wrong. Sure beats the hell out of buying an 8 GPM machine though, that's for sure.

That is my question. I also read that thread from Russ and also my local guys said the same. For me with the check valve or isolation valve ther is no need to adjust or to try to equal the two machines. I could be wrong but my setup now is unreal. Still working with the diff tips to get the most of both machines for diff jobs. Soft, pressure, water volume qnd so on. Still not sure on a chem injector, due that they dilute the mixture to much for me. Still looking for a 12 volt setup for chems but am working on a pool pump booster pump now. Will be 120 ac, have a return to tank, and I am looking to run 300 feet of hose. Just trying as every home has power and those that do not or is not close to the trailer there is a generator on the trailer for that.

I do a different kind of cleaning and have used 6gpm 3500s with 4 gpm 2100s and check valves. The only adjusting you have to do at all is on the unloader to make them come on at the same time.

It will equalize down to 2100psi on its own. You can push it a little and get it up to maybe 2500 with smaller tips but that will mean less water because you will have to bypass some of the larger unit to push that and not shut off the smaller one.

Its pretty simple and takes about a minute to get it working right the first time, then it works perfect from there on out.

So if I set my 3500 to max out at 3000 I should be good to go?
