backpage

I've noticed a few ppl advertising on backpage, and I've also seen a few backpage 1st page listings for pressure washing...
I thought that site was for finding prostitutes? lol seriously though

is it good for SEO? like if you include website link
That and craigslist.
I posted on craigslist when I 1st started my business, but like you said, it was full of low-ballers and hacks and I got 1 phone call from it from the shadiest customer ever

No, but this site is. Blog, blog blog and make sure to hyperlink your keywords to your website.

Pretty much. You could take it a step further in your actual blog page and link the keywords you have here, "We can clean many different kinds of substrates & structures including concrete, exposed aggregate, painted, patterned, stamped & sealed concrete, brick, vinyl siding, aluminum siding, wood, metal, canvas, asphalt shingles, roof tiles, metal roofing, ceramic tiles, pavers, fences, stairs, gutters, houses, mobile homes, awnings, cars, trucks and other vehicles, boats & other water vessel, driveways, drive thrus, parking lots & garages, sidewalks, buildings, anything!?

If you had an independent blog page of all of your keywords on your website, basically the substrates you work on it would give everything a more solid boost. Gallery pages are good to link to also.

Backpage and craigslist are good for SEO. Even with no-follow tags, they are good for healthy diversity. There are ways to make them work better than simply placing an ad. I will be talking about these type of listings in Houston.

I will also explain why that anchor link in previous post is not as effective as it could be. Both from an SEO perspective as well as an ROI perspective.

Sample Craiglist ad.... Pressure washing Lexington KY

Few things going on in the ad that HELP.

Better to blog from your own site. Better to anchor text links to your own site as well. Your property is the most important to SEO/SEM. If you just want extra places on page one, OK to have third party site, but don't DO the SEO for the third party if you are paying the third party. Make them earn it.

lemme ask you this.
If I were to go and change all my sigs and whatnot, to link to my site, would it help... or is it too late, and I should just do it from now on?
Sounds like a dumb question

At a minimum, change the sig to link to your own website. Also, look at my signature. Better if the links are in a natural sentence setting with text on either side and positive adjective prior to link. "Best", "great", "awesome" Helps the spider to know that it is good link versus bad reputation type description. I am primarily concerned with folks linking to others property. You control your own site and facebook etc. Link to those. If paid third party is good enough for payment, then won't need your help ranking.

Thanks for the tips.
I noticed you've got the 1st 4 positions for "pressure washing lexington" including a facebook and yelp.
Wow.
I've got both of those but neither are 1st page.
I think my yelp may be on one of the 1st 3 pages though

Looks good.
I used to have an app that made sexy designs for craigslist, backpage, etc.
I might start using it again just to have more listings.

I told ron I'd try to make it to Houston.
Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you "big dogs"

As of yesterday craigslist in the Tampa Bay area is no longer allowing outbound links. The last week or two they were deleting my ads as fast as I could post them. Yesterday morning I tried to post again and it went through. But when I went to make sure it was up and running, the clickable image file and my website link and all anchor text were not there. I checked everyones ads that said img. next to it, and they were all empty. That means the hundreds of backlinks I posted are no longer there. I went back a month and they were all empty.
