What is a good entry level supply hose reel?

I am going to need a good entry level supply hose reel. Would also be interested on what a decent double stack reel is. There are alot of different companies out there and I am sure they are similar for the most part but would like to hear everyones opinion first. Looking for one that will have continuous feed from reel to the bulk tank.

If you want entry level but good, go to your nearest menards, grab 1 or 2 lengths of their 3/4 red farm supply hose 75' (runs about $35 or $40 bucks). For a reel they also sell a steel one by Liberty that will just barely hold 150' of 3/4 hose for less than $100. I don't think it would be stackable unless you got a custom frame made.

I am just trying to put a rig together and funds are limited until I see if I can get this up and running. Not really wanting to be cheap but at this time I don't have much choice. I don't need stackable but just thought I would see what is out there. I just need something that I can bolt to the trailer and feed water from the hookup to the tank.

Then if I were you Richard I would bypass the reel for now. The $500-$600 for both reels and stack kit can be better allocated towards other things in your business if you're on a budget.

I don't think I have ever been called Richard before. I can do a couple hundred for a reel if need be. Just not going to spend 500+ for one right now if its not needed. I dont really need a stack, just thought about it for two reels of garden supply hose incase I needed the extra length. I will need at least one reel. I will look into the ones that were posted and go from there.

My apologies I thought I read Richard in your sig.
The 5-600 was for 2 reels, not 1. If you feel you need one then that's fine. I was on a budget when I first started too and I went the first 2 years after starting my company without reels. I thought they were overrated. That allowed me to put the money into advertising and other things.

Whatever you do Don't buy a cheap one. "Buy cheap, buy twice"

I was just bustin your chops. No hard feelings. I am just use to having reels and don't want hoses coiled up laying on the floor of the trailer. I do appreciate your input.

advertising lands more jobs than nice equipment does, with that said, if you think you can do it, go for it.
Personally, I ran around for 4 or 5 months without ever getting a reel, and that was for my high pressure hoses.
Now that was expensive.
$350ish for the hose reel, $250ish for 200 ft of hose.
I still don't have one for supply hose, but will be getting one this year as it's a hassle and my hoses are starting to get wear and tear from getting smooshed in the back

If costs are a concern, a couple of pieces of square tubing with the hose put on In a figure 8 pattern will meet your needs for a long time.

The Liberty reel I mentioned for low pressure is not junk. Our first one is going on 3 years and actually fell off the trailer once. I have 5 or 6 of them now. One had the swivel go out so I just switched it out for our roof rig for which we don't run the mix through the reel anyway (we just put a plug in both ends, use one of those rubberized twist ties to keep the start of the hose in place on the reel, then reel it up). I'd guess we've saved several dozens of man hours trying to wind up hose by hand. Pretty good for $80 reels.
