What is your weather restriction?

This winter is killing me. Ive got 3 jobs monday, two first timers and the high is 34 and it is supposed to snow. We went out the other morning and I knew it was going to be cold but the high that day was in the forties so I wasnt too concerned. We were finishing about 30 minutes before the place opened and there were some icy spots on the sidewalks.

What does the weather have to be like for you to reschedule work?

Below Freezing. 33 degrees or higher and I'm working commercial. Resi work I prefer at least 45 degrees for the most part but have washed a house when it was 37 degrees. Cleaning agents don't like cold weather. Takes longer to get the job done.

All depends what you are doing and who or what is affected by your washing. Concrete I would say well above freezing and anything where water + concrete + public is all involved. It was -10`F last weekend when I steamed the tracks of an excavator that was being transported the next day. I don't reschedule much, but I make sure the customer understands that too cold and things will take longer and won't turn out as good. I have though told customers no when I felt it was just to cold for the job they wanted done.

SPF 30 Sport again......... Sorry boys..... Oh and I listen to my mom........SPF 50 chapstick too! ( in FLORIDA )That last full moon last week has put the sun a little higher and days will be longer! Next full moon will be higher too!

Oh Shut Up Already!!!!

My biggest factor is wind in some neighborhoods houses are so close if the wind is right you will have to wash the neighbors house and car for free.

Plus one million. Plus, on top of that it really sucks when they don't want their house and/or car washed! lol

Reminds me of a time several years ago when we pulled up to wash a house, got about halfway through then realized we were supposed to be doing the neighbors house. oops

The older I get the warmer it needs to be!!!!
Since getting bit by a Brown Recluse in 98 I haven't been able to handle a lot of heat. That little spider almost put me in the ground and it took away my stamina and altered my immune system. I lost 32 lbs of muscle mass and it took me 2 yrs to get that back. About an hour in 95+ degree heat and then I have to cool off a little while.

The heat used to really get to me too. We are from Indiana until about 10 years ago and not used to the extreme heat in the south. When we first moved to the gulf coast the summer heat would kick my butt, but now mid 90's is hot but you get used to it, and I can work in it all day now. Now below 50 seems cold to me.

Those Brown Recluse are nasty little bastards......You are fortunate to have gotten it treated in time

Our low restriction is 37 deg. I don't need any slip and falls. At 105 we start providing free powerade to our guys. Around these parts that is when it starts getting warm.

Our low is 27. The hydraulics in the lift act funny below that.

Highs above 115 and we switch to nights and end by 10am.

28+ mph winds and we shut down.

We shut down any day it rains if possible. If not, we work through it.

Lightning shuts us down.

That's about it. Lol
