Egged house

How would you clean eggs from the pics attached?

Customer's house was egged this past weekend. He would like to have the eggs cleaned off now, and then have us come back later in the spring to wash the entire house. The temps are in the 20's this week, but should reach the low 40's by the weekend.

Should I use hot water set at around 140 degrees?

What cleaner would you use? I figured something with a pH of 11 to 12, but I'm not sure about the windows.

I know this will also require some scrubbing.

I thought i just saw a post on Facebook someone used a Sodium percarb on an egged house.

Get it off know with a brush and soap water what ever. Just charge them extra, someone egged my house (garage door) last year I waited a week because I knew it was no big deal. Came home with the pressure washer no luck and its still there I have to paint it. So just charge a little less then painting and get it done quick.

Egg on painted metal will leave a stain if not removed promptly but not so much on vinyl. Vinyl is more forgiving but still needs to be removed ASAP.

Right on Rance. Vinyl is more forgiving but the quicker you remove it the better. You may need your gutter brush to agitate it a little after you apply your house mix.

Jason, how'd this go?

Everything went well with a stronger house wash mix, a little heat and minimal brushing. The metal frame on one screen had a small "shadow" afterwards, but was no problem since I discussed this possibility with the customer before hand. I received an additional call yesterday for another egged house in roughly the same area.

Now if only the weather would decide if it is winter or spring around here. 60 degrees tomorrow, then back down to the low 30's for 4 days.
