Mi TM pressure washers

Had one before. It was a good unit. I'd check it out thoroughly but sounds like a good deal

right now it's a choice between this machine and a standard 4 GPM Honda GX340 engine unit with a CAT pump for $450. The only thing I am concerned with is the pump. It's an AR triple plunge, obviously their top of the line, but my experience with AR pumps has been less than stellar.

Im working on a Mi-T-M right now for another contractor, fixing it up. They are pretty sweet little machines, I feel like there is a lot of quirky "one off" parts that you can't just go grab at the local shop. Then you call Mi-T-M and they refer you to their dealers...kinda a pain when working on them.

That is a good point. I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons b/w the two. The Mi-T-Ms are solid from what I've been told thus far, but I don't want some nightmare scenario where what should be a simple fix turns into a nightmare scenario trying to acquire parts.

Forget the bottom one. Between the two on top I'd go with the middle. But I don't price, and can't see the engine side of the MTM

No. It is not a hot water machine, that is just strange for him to say that unless he is completely out to lunch, Id check the belts for wear to try and gage how much it has been used, and look for corrosion in the tank and around the carb, if that is not bad. 400 bucks take it or leave it!

the guy says its a hot water Mi-TM, but I don't see a boiler on there.

None of those machines are hot water machines, there is no coil/burner on it and if there was, it would be several times that size, not on a little cart like that.

If he is trying to get you to believe it is a hot water rig, he is trying to scam you.

Get a pressure gauge and the correct nozzle for that machine and see how much pressure it puts out, chances are it was a rental and is probably worn out. They sell those around here for about $300 when they get the new machines in, after the rentals have a few thousand hours on them. With a gauge and the right nozzle, you will know if it has good pressure or not.

I picked up a Mi-TM 3004 Cold water, Belt Drive Honda GX340 and a General 3000PSI 4GPM pump......Got it for $150
Was by far the greatest investment I ever made..... 3 years later I still use it all the time.
