How do you download large files/videos from Samsung Galaxy 4S ?

I took a video of work yesterday that was about 10 or 15 minutes long and it will not email or text to my accounts.

I tried uploading it to youtube and it never finished, it seems to be over 1g in file size.

I tried connecting the usb cable to the computer but could not figure out how to get the video off of the phone into the computer.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank You.

Get an iPhone. Android videos must be no longer than 1 second to do anything with.

On my android I upload to Vimeo. Seems to work better. Also you need to have a strong upload signal from your wifi.

Chris, when you connect the usb cable, there will be 2 connection options. Choose transfer files. Then under 'my computer', select your phone's folder. Should be in videos or dcim folder.

There was nothing showing in the dcim folder, there was no transfer files buttons or anything showing once I connected the usb cable between the computer and the phone.

I searched youtube and found a video showing a program called Wondershare MobileGo for Android phones, I downloaded it (15 day trial) it worked great, got the pics and videos off of the phone and into the computer.

Thanks for the help.

Get a dropbox account that way you can store them online and share easily if you need to, plus a basic account is free.
