We use goggle for most of our measuring. you need to click on the ruler at the top of the page. then it is just point and click.

Yeah, do that on my lap and desktops. We're talking about an iPhone app.

Been using the "measure your land" app, works good for roof tops and driveways. Accuracy is good, but is easier to use on my iPad

Google Earth I use to setup runways with it very accurate.

im trying on GE now the stupid lines wont stay when i start the other side of the building.

Thanks for bringing this up John. I just used google earth to measure my driveway and it was exactly right on. Just clicked tools , ruler, and it works awesome. +1000

I use bing Maps for a most of my residential estimates because you get angled view.
