Anyone have a windows phone?

I picked up a Nokia 1520 last weekend to go along with my 5s. I figured the camera would come in handy for before/afters. And it has Microsoft office on it. I have my number forwarded to bid slot so it never rings. Pretty awesome lol

I can still text and everything. But the calls go to them

And then some people on here have my personal number and try calling a deaf person lol

My son is a senior at the U of O and is buddies with the kid (student) who's the paid Microsoft campus rep. The rep's job is to hype-up Microsoft hardware with the kids. After the windows phone flopped he was told to give them away for free. Didn't work, no takers.

My geeky son loves his window phone. Nothing makes me happier than when his phone goes down, like they always do, and I get to give him a bad time about getting an Iphone.

You face some unique challenges in the business arena. It would be tough being profoundly deaf and trying to run a pressure washing business. Do you only do commercial? How do you communicate with your customers? I really am sincere in wanting to know.

I have an iPhone as well

The only thing I don't like about the windows is lack of notifications. Its a very stable phone

I like it a hell of alot better than the androids we had

also do landscaping. Most communication is through email after initial contact. I have april/bidslot for an answering service and to communicate. I can email her and she'll call customers for me as well

It sucks being deaf but bidslot has made it a whole lot easier.

And I'm mostly residential. We will go after commercial this fall

I would have thought commercial would be easier. I am glad you found a work around.

I've got a windows phone and it's complete garbage. It is only used for business but it was free so I took it. The non-smart phones were around $100..... it shows a sign of the times, I guess. Anyway, the texting is not predictable, and I hate the menu.
