The M5 is the adjustable nozzle - a twist changes the spray from wide fan to long stream.

The standard X-Jet comes with two nozzles - fan and stream. Slower and more burdensome because you have to change them just like you would on a normal lance.

It's a no brainer. Get the M-5 X-Jet.

The reason I asked is, I went to sunbrite and they say that the original x-jet shoots farther. But I guess that does't really matter since I mainly want it for concrete treating. I will try it on two story stubborn gutters and soffits, though.

Yeah, the original is supposed to shoot farther but they don't say how much.

Just noticed that I screwed up and titled this thread as C-Jet instead of X-Jet. Sorry.
 
The original doesnt really shoot any farther. Just keep an eye on the metal flaps on the Mjet so they dont get bent. We usually keep anywhere from 50-100 ft of hose on the Mjet. Average house you might have to move your 5 gallon bucket once or twice and alot of the times we just leave the mix in the van if the house isnt that big. Dont think that your stuck with the 6 ft hose that comes with it. Great tool

Rob, do you lose any draw with that much hose?
 
Not enough draw that you would notice. If we notice the mix is a little weaker at Mjet then just make it heavier from the tank or 5. Trust me its worth it to try out. So much better than lugging a 5 around the yard
 
Loose the pail modify a backpack sprayer and both hands are free I love Jetting certain jobs. When I schedule too many jobs in a day we jet them so the Chem goes on hot and we can rinse quick. Don't get the backpacks with the plumbing at the bottom it will leak. Find the ones with the plumbing at the top.

Get one of the remotes to turn the soap on and off.. Ex jet sucks blows everywhere..

Never add surfactant when cleaning pool enclosures it just not necessary unless you want to spend all day rinsing. I just downstream the sh for two good coats and rinse, no killing plants and easy to rinse. Keep it simple.
